What I don't understand is mcvay is supposed to be a great offensive mind and the offense sucks.

When Martz was coach the defense may have sucked but the offense always put up points. Even with Jamie Martin at QB.

This team can’t run the ball and they struggle to protect the QB. There is only so much McVay can do. I don’t think Shanahan or Andy Reid would be doing any better with this personnel.

This offensive performance was after the bye! He spent two weeks to score 14 points at home and none in the second half!

Same old game plan and no adjustments. Shanahan adjusted and kicked our ass again. Super bowl feeling is long gone.
Hard to watch

yeah... part of this is the price we paid for the last superbowl.

I'm gonna make a mock. All I'm going to say? That Taylor Rapp hit (even though it was a catch)? Perfectly legal, and a horseshit call by the officiating. I don't see any difference between that hit and Nick Scott's hit on Deebo.

100 percent - and I’d pay it again no questions asked.

The question is now - what does the season hold for us? Trade for help but with no guarantee we make the postseason? Rebuild for another year knowing that AD and Stafford will be losing a season?

last year Tart drops the int... we win the game...

today Ramsey forces a fumble like 6 blue shirts and 1 49ners in the area - but the ball falls from the air right into his arms.

Well, that's a wrap. I can't see us making the playoffs and it's midseason. I'm having flashbacks.

except that rapp actually hit his helmet. aim lower. it's pretty simple.

we always feel the same after a whiner game, watching the same lame soft d get trampled all game, watching the same lame offense do diddly all game. yet miraculously the rams start playing better against other teams.

mcvay can't let go of his whiner roots. i think he's happy to concede regular season games to them.

and keep his buddy hired to boot.

Nah, he hit shoulder to shoulder. And like Philly said, the wideout lowered his helmet as well. I just thought it was a shitty call at the time, and I honestly didn't see things any differently.

it was bullshit because its inconsistently called.

Exactly. I saw no difference from Rapp's hit to Scott's hit. It just boggles my mind how a similar hit against a similar opponent gets flagged while another similar hit against a similar opponent doesn't.
