Just read we have scored 37 points in the second half this season. Think about that for a bit that's in 7 games.
Here's my no-rose-colored-glasses take (sorry):
We have talked about the lack of Ram adjustments in the 2nd half before. Same shit different day.
We have talked about JimmyG vs Raheem before. With time JimmyG not only completed 80% but made some great throws today.
We have talked about limited-variance McVay play calling. IMO he played scared, don't blame him I guess. Rams couldn't challenge the 49er middle, flanker screens worked for a while but not forever. What else ya got Sean? Shanahan had some wrinkles . . .
Rams have multi-injuries but the 49ers were missing Deebo, Juschek and Armistad and they were still easily the better team.
Team game: the 2020 All-in chickens are coming home to roost, role players not quite good enough and no trade firepower left.
SF with Deebo and Juschuk and McCaffery and Aiyuk and Kittle and that D look as good to me as anybody in the NFC.
Hard to believe they can attract difference makers now, or that McSnead will pay for them at this point.
Playoffs look far away to me vs their schedule. Seattle looks better, AZ looks
maybe a little worse.
But despite the star power the 2021 Rams are looking like an average NFL team at best.
Let's see what McVay can pull out of the hat. Gonna be a challenge.
