You want find anyone that believes Jimmy has a better supporting cast than Stafford rn. Who cares what happened in regulation the game didn't end there it ended in ot...after Stafford made a horrible throw and that's what matters.
Are you saying you won't find anyone who thinks Jimmy has a better supporting cast?

Because that's not true. The have two absolute superstars as targets.. SUPERSTARS... and fantastic Rookie RB who's better than anything the Rams roll out right now.... and a line that can actually open holes in the run game.

I’ll need to watch more closely after I calm down but our 2nd tier tackling was atrocious. Also maybe I’m underestimating Samuel (and hdd we is tough mfer) but why wasn’t someone pinned on him more closely. Him and the rookie RB killed us.

Whiners always give their all against us. I expect Dallas to beat their tired asses playing physical like that all game next week.

This Rams team is so fucking frustrating though, at least match up with their intensity. McVay either has to let this team match their intensity or use it against them with short passes and screens; just take what they're throwing at you

You're wrong. Statistically and objectively wrong. Winning coaches do something to try and make sure the other team doesn't get the ball.

Hell, have Stafford drop back and if there's nothing there, tell him to take a knee. They still burn the timeout, but at least at that point you fucking tried.

He gave up. Because McVay always gives up and plays passive.

Just like at the end of regulation where he's on the 30, has a timeout and there are 20 seconds left. Stafford takes a sack. OK, that's not a great outcome, but you've still got a shot. Call the timeout and take it.

What does he do? Eh, we'll hope we win the coin toss and take our chances, just let the clock expire.

Yeah, that fucking worked.

McVay is not a championship coach. Period. And this game demonstrated it in every possible way.
That's the thing. McVay plays passive and not to lose on offense and defense.

When are people on here going to make the connection?

Exactly. Look at the windows Jimmy throws into compared to Dak, Stafford, Brady, etc.

Their running game gives him absolute layups.

The defense put the offense in a position to end the game with one first down by shutting SF down on the previous possession.
They did and we should have played aggressively.

But we could have failed to get the first down anyway and still had to punt the ball.

Our defense would have required to hold them but Morris shit the bed on that drive.

And Morris was actually calling a good game for the most part.

But when I saw him play soft ass defense after playing tough on the previous series, I just had a feeling that the whiners would get a TD.

Ramsey was on him. But the defense was out of sorts before the play, leading to Ramsey and Rapp not being clear on who was taking whom. And yes, that's a coaching mistake. Call a timeout. Or simplify the defense. And stop running that soft ass bullshit.
Ramsey and Rapp are seeming to have bad communication between them lately

The defense put them in a position to win? What?
The offense gave the Rams the lead back after the D surrendered a 17-0 LEAD
Did you even watch the game?

i mean looking back.. yeah we wish mcvay should have gone for the 1st down...

but y'all are lying if you didnt think we had the game at that point - 49ners with no time outs and 90 yards

Not lying at all. Matter of fact, when they lined up, I looked over to the person I went with and said "he better not just fucking run it", then he ran it.

Also, they had no way of knowing the ball would start at the 12. For all they knew, it was going to be at the 30.

The offense put the defense in position to win the game and they blew it. You seem to be ignoring that part so you can take some digs at Stafford.
No I'm not doing that I'm just stating the facts. Who care what happened it regulation because it didn't end there it doesn't matter why it didn't end. But in ot with the game on the line Stafford made the right read with a horrible throw and that's game. Everything that happened it regulation is a mute point.

Like look at Stafford’s TD to Kupp compared to Jimmys to tie the game. Stafford was in the deep red zone and had to layer a throw into a 4 ft window deep in the corner. There weren’t 20 better throws made in the NFL all season.

Jimmy on the other hand had a coverage bust and a wide open in route with no one within 10 yards of the receiver.

As someone said, I think something is wrong with Stafford that doesn't allow him to throw as deep as he did in previous years

We did. And he threw a TD with 3 minutes left in the game to give us the lead.

See? I can do it too
If God would’ve posted on the board before the game and said the Rams would have a 7 pt lead with 100 seconds to go and the 49ers would have 90 yards to go with no timeouts, the celebration thread would’ve immediately been made because everyone would’ve thought it was a slam dunk.

But it's completely fair to question McVay's play calling.. his move at the end of the first half? Every guy on this board groaned when he went empty on that play.
And Troy Aikman made it a point to bring it up at least 3 different times, once with video evidence after the half. It was a stupid fucking play call and anyone defending McVay on it is a full on homer, incapable of reasoning that sometimes he’s a shit play caller.

Annnnnnd he threw a ridiculous pick to end the game, 17th of the season (the last Rams QB with 17 picks in a season played in Stl)

Lol
Ok. What statistic?
Show me the stat that shows a team winning % when the opposition has to go 88 yards, with 0 time outs in 1 minute 20
Otherwise you are FOS

I disagree. Stafford has the better supporting cast especially when healthy and let's be real about the running backs. Shanahan can make any runningback look all world. Now if you wanna talk about who has better coaching...unfortunately that's a different story.
