Here’s hoping that we come out angry.

If we had to crap the bed, I’d rather it be against the Bucs than a team in our division.

That said, if we don’t figure out a few things, Thursday is gonna be ugly.

I honestly think we were buying into it all about how good they are and we didn’t snap to until the 4the Qtr. I really feel it was a reality check and our comeback shows that.

Honestly the biggest problem I see is we do not adjust scheme, playcalling, personal, or situations very fast and efficiently like we have the last 2 seasons. Smh.

Idk how some o us can give up on Goff? Hes been getting pressure all year, the offensive line is battered and old . There are alot worse QBs out there , jared will be fine but he needs help from the line . Defense was unacceptable today, this team is stacked on defense and idk what happened today

Yea 517 yards and 7 scoring drives doesn't cut it. The bum.

Yea he was pressured 30 times, but if he cant put up 600 yards and 50 points he's not cutting it.

The 10 penalites on the offense was Goff's fault clearly to.

yes he put up good numbers today but he also had 4 turn overs. and for the year he has more turn overs then td passes I think. not saying that every thing is his fault but of those 30 pressures how many was because he holds it to long.

I just want the fumbles to stop. Goff has had a fumble in every game except the SB going back to the KC game last season. Line or QB, I don't care who’s at fault but it has got to stop

Didnt see all of the game, not sure I want to watch it all. The D was shredded and the O shot themselves in the foot and turned the ball over way to often to win in the NFL. Classic trap game looking ahead to the big division matchup on Thursday night. Everytime the O looked like they might be able to overcome the terrible 1st qtr, another turnover leading to points for tampa. Both sides of the ball should get ripped in meeting tomorrow. Hopefully this game wakes up the O and gets McVay to rethink his attack. I know 11 personnel buts our best 11 on the field, but we may need to get the best matchup to attack what the D is doing to disrupt the O. I dont know what the answer is, but IMO it would involve a heavy package with 2 TEs or a FB and pound the ball to force the D to try something different or get run over all day.

Yes. But I am looking at the last two years. The D being good is an aberration. We never put any pressure on Winston, a mediocre QB, and yet we never blitzed.

Lets relax fellas. I think emotions are running high, I'm down right now myself to be honest. We all are upset, if you are your feelings are validated. We have a short week, we need to be worried about Seattle. Winning against them would make things feel a little better.

I'm not down with the narrative "He holds the ball too long". If the offense calls for plays to develop, why would anyone attempt to get the ball out quickly if its not by design? The offense is designed for Goff to make reads and deliver accurate throws. It is not designed for a bad offensive line which actually may be more of our issue now that I'm typing this. If he rushes the throw and misses, then he needs to show more patience. If he takes his time, delivering an accurate throw; he's holding the ball too long. No, there have been multiple plays I've seen where there are fumbles and interceptions where guys have come completely unblocked. That is strictly on the O-Line.

I highly doubt that I can add anything that hasn't already been posted but one thing I am completely sick of is the usual "this one was on me" narrative. Enough already with this shtick. I want answers and accountability. I want changes and intelligent assessments and responses. Not the trite and self-serving insipid "aw shucks ya'll I just gots to do a better job, ya'll....."responses to the problems we all can see.

I am weary of the incessant "Mea Culpas" which oozes from McVay like sweat in a humid Arkansas summer.

But yeah, let's rag on Goff because his NFL 8th highest passing yardage total, 36 first downs and 7 scoring drives wasn't good enough.....

The thing about running the ball, is you have to stick to it. It’s like a great shooter in basketball—they might miss their first 5 shots, but the great ones keep shooting. You can’t give up after a handful of carries, which is what McVay does every week. Gurley especially, is the kind of back that needs to get a lather going. And once he gets that lather going he becomes a pain in the ass to tackle.

The line has not been good, so I’m sympathetic to McVay a little, but he’s got to be better. Jared Goff throwing 40, 50 passes a game is **not** the recipe for success.

I blame the defense for more than the offense.. but I see that the farther away the game gets the more glorious Goff's stats look.
