Just means that other than enjoying the clips of Skip Bayless on Youtube, I'll have to enjoy not talking about football this week...

Well, I do have a shitload of work to do around the house this week, so...
 
AFC goes through the Titans.
NFC goes through the Cards.

I don't think that's gonna be the Super Bowl or it's gonna be the worst rated Super Bowl in modern history.

It would be weird if the Titans held serve and we fought through on the road to play the Super Bowl at home against the Titans in a rematch at SoFi... right?

Seems like the NFL would like something like that

Cant see the same mistakes being made to this extent. Especialy the Cards game. I will say Mcvay has got to scheme up new stuff and give Stafford more time through play action. Stafford is good but hes not a one man offense

When we went back to our old style of zone running with play action boots we were able to make some things happen. We got their line moving horizontally. I just wonder why it took McVay a whole half to mix in some of those plays.

My problem is the pussification of the NFL these days with hitting and tackling. Worst yet was this officiating crew. Those two items are what make me question being such a sports and football fanatic.

Watch the film. Learn from it. Move on.

Looks like we are back to the PA game vs good teams. Different year same result.

tops what has been a day and year of who the fuck knows how is going to win....

like the jaguars beating the bills... or the broncos owning the cowboys.

Thats the way this league is.... you can get yours any night when you dont see it coming.


McVay took a bit to adjust -but the oline was getting beat up the middle

If we dont hand them 14 pts on offense we win = sometimes you have to just win ugly and not expect you are going to drop 35pts
 
Stafford will always take the safety or forward progress from here on out, glad to get that one out of his system. O-line was manhandled in first half. Weird game. Time to move on

At some point, you need to look at play selections... Not sure if coaching or QB (looking for the big plays all the time)

I'm gonna guess bc McVay was tired of running that way in order to make Goff shine all those years. He went out and got Stafford, at least from my understanding, so he wouldn't have to design plays to hide the qb's flaws. But at some point you have to stop being so stubborn and keep your qb upright.
