Absolute garbage game by the offense again. I'm usually the optimist but at this point we're pretty much out of the playoff race. The way our offensive line is playing we have no shot at a run. And there's no point in tanking for a pick because we don't have one. Shame to say but this was a wasted season.

Feels like a mix of ‘02 and ‘81.

‘81 saw the beginning of that first great Niner team and ‘02 was about coming off a bad SB loss and personnel losses that ended up being significant.

Why do the football gods hate this franchise?

Mc Vay got out coached. Why announced David Edwards to RG? All NFL teams figured out McVay and the Rams offense, and McVay could not adapt.

This is the thing that worries me the most. We have have no capital to spend. I predict some of our bigger contracts getting traded, re-structured or cut.

None of the big contracts can be cut realistically because of the dead money.

It’s just impossible to read into this stuff during a game.
It is always making massive assumptions about things that are second or two captures of a person usually out of context with other stuff going on.
To make assumptions about a guys attitude, effort, desire, health and how he is as a team mate is really sort of silly.

i do sort of have to laugh at the sudden love for Saffold on the board.
I spent several seasons defending him and the need to keep him when he was so injury prone.
The majority of the board couldn’t wait to dump him.

3. I dont know why McVay is not using Gurley, but his history tells us he abandons the run when behind. Every game we lost the last 2 seasons,Gurley touched the ball less than 20 times.

The most logical explanation with the fewest assumptions.

Never saw Gurley again after he was averaging over 7 yards per carry. Doesn't make any sense. Don't understand why they continue to be shady about what's wrong with him. Just makes them look dumb. Especially when we are struggling so bad. Ramsey is a great player but it sure seems like upgrading the o-line would have made a lot more sense. Goff doesn't help anything either. Can't believe we paid him so much money. I'm guessing we are stick with him regardless of performance.

I'm sure they tried to upgrade the OL. How many teams traded away starting caliber OL in the weeks leading up to the trade deadline? If the O struggles and there is no way of fixing it with a trade, you strengthen the D.

I don't know how you compensate for this OL. You can't just run quick passes.

Oh I don't know about that. The Patriots seem to do just fine with those cute little slants and dump offs to the RB and all. All friggin' game long they do it and we can't try it for a quarter?

Disagree. If your Oline precludes you success you hold your assets for next season.
