The tackling today was about as bad as I’ve ever seen. I’ve never seen so many missed tackles. It was like Saints players rubbed baby oil all over their bodies before the game.

That last offensive series was mind boggling you take a deep shot on 3rd and 2 instead of something short to get the first. Blythe didn’t know the damn play even after the timeout got pushed so far back into Goff made him rush that 4th down throw to Cooks

Agreed. Apart from the obvious defensive mishaps throughout, those last few drives really stood out. Championship teams don't go down like that.

I have been feeling the loss of Aqib ever since he went down. There is no replacement for experience, and Marcus still has a lot! of learning to do.

Our defense is not good. Not nearly as good as it was hyped up to be. That being said, this game showed us that we only require an average effort from the defense (like it gave in the second half) to win.

If the effort the defense put in during the second half was there in the first we'd have won this game.

We weren't going 16-0. Only the most delusional homers believed that. And it's not a big deal. Every Super Bowl winning team but one has lost at least a single game during the regular season.
