I don't know how much more credit I could have given the defense in my post. They held up until the last drive - that's a fact. They gave up the touchdown on the Bucs' final drive of the game. I know they aren't robots, that they get tired, make mental mistakes but the scheme definitely didn't help. When professional analysts who have played the game are scratching their heads and clowning on our scheme in that moment, I'm not sure what there is to argue.
I agree to an extent but there should have been no other drive. They had there last drive and they were stopped and while the analysts are left scratching their heads there they should have been scratching their heads when we gave the ball back with 3 shitty play calls and harped on that which they really didn't but of course there going to talk on that last drive and also question but that's there job and besides Brady Brady Brady all week and wt an awesome comeback and he still got it etc it's easy to pick on the last unit on the field but I'd suspect if you say with them rt now they would say I'm part what your saying and please understand I agree but also say well 26 3 and outs and absolutely no ability to clock kill yea defense gassed and you can play man zone whatever on that last drive your probably still losing because they thought they had won it and to see over and over that your offense is pathetic it's back breaking.
I do know what you mean and seems like this year it's going to be which came first the chicken or the egg type thing. Even earlier post I think we all know AD pretty well by now and that look on his face was telling in my opinion.
Basically it's a shame the last unit on the field gets the blame when they shouldn't of really been out there if your offense can even muster one play. So the offense puts them out there yet again and yes the scheme was weak I wish at least it was more selective but they seemed to have mailed it in sadly.
Like coming home from work and being called back for shit reason we may go back but effort may be lack luster from the disappointment of other people's fuck ups.
It's tough man
