Not so sure about that. Look how Saquon is now. He was in the same situation as Kyren is now. Henry too. Look at the diffrence of them behind great o'lines and bad o'lines!
Ravens offensive line is certainly not great. Henry is the difference maker there

Yes our offense didn't help out the defense but our defense could not stop crap last night.

And I blame one player for all the 3rd and longs given up last night >>> Slowboom.

He missed so many tackles last night plus he was way too slow to get to Hurtz when he ran last night especially on those 3rd and longs.

Why was he even in the game on 3rd and long.

I would have replaced him with Lake at that position and put in another safety like McCoullough.

I also would have blitzed Hurtz on 3rd and long each time.

The few times we did blitz he had to get the ball away early and usually went to Barkley and Slowboom would miss the tackle and Barkley would get the first down.

It is what it is. We got manhandled on prime time again. The young D got shredded. Williams with 2 more fumbles. Kicker misses badly on his only FG attempt. Total BULLSHIT letting Philly take the penalty, once they saw our offense going for it on 4th down. That’s an insult to the integrity of the game.
The worst part for me is hearing how load the opposing fans are in our home stadium. We are the only team that plays 17 away games.
Embarrassing fan base in LA.

Even if we lose to the Bills, I’m pretty sure wins in our other games will be enough to win the division.

Team needs help in the trenches both sides. A run stuffing DT, LB and another CB. On offense OT and TE. Team misses Higbee a lot IMO. Last night was a matter of being out classed. Rams hung in for a while but eventually the better roster wore them down and pulled away.

Looked like a 3 levels issue to me. Our 4 star defensive front players are light. Heaviest one is 295. Gonna get blown off the ball every time.

Linebackers stink. Nothing new to say.

Corners were bad. How many 3rd and long did we surrender?!?

This team has undervalued the MLBer position for far too long and Mr. Barkley wants to thank you for that.

Eagles secondary, ILB and Oline are a notch above ours.

They are clearly the better team.

K Williams is a pro Bowl back, be careful what you ask for.

We still have a path to the playoffs but we are clearly not a Super Bowl team. With Havenstein we should be better but our defense is not championship level.

Kupp has lost a step. Still should be a factor for a few years but his prime is over.

We fucked up free agency clearly.

So what are u saying teams scared of our passing game????

The passing game doesn’t scare anybody because we can’t protect the quarterback. It’s as simple as that. 27th in pass pro coming into this week per PFF. We may drop even further after tonight.

Is that a new account you made to reaffirm some non sensical point you are trying to make?

#1. Creating a strawman argument to avoid the fact that our RB is a fumbling McVay schemed RB isn't our long term answer and probably contradicting what some of said about Williams being elite is non sensical.

#2. Don't know if you've noticed this but out of our 10 games before last night we've had 6 different starting combos of OL. Being 27th in pass pro happens when you have 2nd and 3rd stringers in there.

#3. I know the pass game and the run game are connected on an offense but anybody who knows anything realizes the Shanahan and more specifically McVay's offense knows the engine that makes it go is the run game. Period. End of story. The other times McVay has been our head coach and he's sputtered as an offensive play caller has been against a Vic Fangio defense, which coincidently focuses #1 on stopping the run. Remember that late season game in Chicago in 2018 that laid the foundation for the rest of the season, the loss to NE in the SB, and half the following year before McVay changed the offense? Yeah that was because his run game was being stopped and couldn't set up his play action.

#4. Occam's Razor is probably one of the best rulers in life to judge multi faceted problems with. MCVay himself states after weeks like this a continued focus on the run game and the problems surrounding the run game. Why? Because he knows what's the motor that makes his offense go.

Let's be honest here, there is a ton of work to do on this team and I hope they are ready to make the change and be aggressive and that includes the coaching staff too.

  1. The Offensive Line. Is Alaric Jackson going to be the LT or is he not going to be the guy? If not, they need to draft someone and maybe they might luck into one falling into their laps plus the Rams need a dependable swing tackle. I was hopeful when the drafted Warren McClendon from Georgia, who seemed to be a solid RT, but that has not transcended to the next level and Rob Havenstein is not getting any younger. They can finally say goodbye to the unreliable Joe Noteboom.
  2. Inside Linebacker. It is time to invest in this position and there will be plenty of options available. Maybe they look at a Sonny Styles from Ohio State, who is a converted safety, but they also could use someone that is a thumper that actually makes RB's fear instead of looking forward to run wild one anyone the Rams currently have on the roster.
  3. Tight End Threat. I believe the Rams have felt they needed an upgrade here for awhile, but have not been able to land their guy. This will also aid the WR's because the Rams need to work on throwing the ball downfield because presently it is more of the short and intermediate routes.
  4. Special Teams. I want Chase Blackburn gone and hire someone that actually has a plan and can work with both specialists to improve their play. Karty seemed fine coming out of college and initially looked just fine, but he has regressed and the coaching has to be held accountable. If the new ST Coach wants to move on from Karty, that is fine, but I want a fresh set of eyes on this unit in every, shape, way & form.
  5. Quarterback of the future. I might wait one more year as I believe Stafford still has the goods and if you build an OL that can actually protect, then he will be even better. I do not believe in Bennett and would look to add another backup like they did with Jimmy Garoppolo, but my focus would be the 2026 draft or if someone slips this year like Drew Allar of Penn State, but I think he is going to stay another year.
  6. Coaching Staff Changes, obviously Blackburn, then I would move on from TE Coach Nick Caley plus inside Linebacker Coach Greg Williams is where I would start with everything else up for debate.

We need a proper TE and a line that can block and not cry they broke thier fingernail.
But the Rams have never had a "proper" TE. The team doesn't value the position and has never had its Gronk or Tony Gonzales.

What was the common theme of those 4 backs I mentioned? You couldn't tackle them in a phone booth. Your point is irrelevant especially considering he keeps putting the ball on the ground.
