The moral of the story is don't draft 5-9" 165 lb WRs who can't play special teams. If the guy isn't an absolute star, he becomes a liability.Yet McVay is not committing to activating him even though he's healthy?

It's only a waste of money if Xavier were released to open up a spot for Tutu OR we didn't win the SB because that 10 mill didn't close a hole somewhere elseSounds like we really just wasted 10 mil there thanks to the emergence of Xavier Smi
Only a liability if he causes the Rams to fall short. The moral of the story is don't draft 5-9" 165 lb WRs who can't play special teams. If the guy isn't an absolute star, he becomes a liability.
And don't sign him to ten million dollar deal when his 4 years are up. Don't see them doing that again next year. The moral of the story is don't draft 5-9" 165 lb WRs who can't play special teams. If the guy isn't an absolute star, he becomes a liability.
I also think that 10 mil is worth the win over the colts.
Truth. Carve that shit in stone. The moral of the story is don't draft 5-9" 165 lb WRs who can't play special teams.
Nah, I am originally from rural PA, about 40 miles northwest of Philly.... So I take your comment as an insult. Then again, I guess I could have picked a better screen name.Truth. Carve that shit in stone.
Also extra points for proper use of moral instead of morale. I mean you are from Philly.![]()
It is a tough lookThen again, I guess I could have picked a better screen name.
Yes the Rams do a good job but no matter what way you slice it, its a waste and overpay. Using last year to spend 10 mil on a scarcely used player is a terrible decision. McVay said he'd use him more, knew it wouldn't happen. McVay should have just admitted he messed up on Tutu being drafted where he was and moved on. We'll be doing this one year too late unfortunately. These things happen...we avoid it better than most teams. We got Landman (or really even Ford) for steals, and we have so many young players on rookie deals. As a piece to the puzzle, Tutu has helped - and if you go back to when Puka missed time last year, he was able to be a focal point. So its almost more like a depth piece that we haven't really needed (albeit a rather expensive one), and then he got hurt
Nah it's a waste when you pay a player that much and these are his stats....4 catches, 164 yards, and 1 TD while also having the head coach admit that he may not activate him from IRIt's only a waste of money if Xavier were released to open up a spot for Tutu OR we didn't win the SB because that 10 mill didn't close a hole somewhere else

On the comment, "Tutu didn't win that Indy game by himself, we can also thank A. Mitchell"....true. But the game was tied and Tutu took it 88 yards for the winning score with 1:33 left. It's not like he took it 88 yards in the 3rd quarter and Mitchell fumbled out of the end zone at the end of the 4th. Context. He couldn't control what Mitchell did, only what he did himself at the end.
85' NFCCG stats?It is a tough look
But then again, who am I to judge?
10/31 66 yards 1 INT 28.0 rating....

Ya it does look interesting, but that's the business of sports.... I say keep him around until the end of the season, then he can move on.Not activating him is a slap in the face. Activate him, then cut him. Give him an injury settlement otherwise. So he can move on. I'm generalities, the way they are handling him is shit. I couldn't care either way if he's with us as a player at this point, that ship has sailed .

That's one opinion. I'm more inclined to think a waste of money is paying Tre'Davious White 3.25 mil for 252 defensive snaps. That's about $13,000 per snap or 3/4 of a million per game. At least Tutu caught a pass that won a game.Nah it's a waste when you pay a player that much and these are his stats....4 catches, 164 yards, and 1 TD while also having the head coach admit that he may not activate him from IR
