The rams blitz rate is at an astronomical high its why thise big ayes occur fir the defense to be ats its best they have to be able to rush with four and as good as wagoner has been it would only help him that much more. Help I g the edge goes far beyond just a glamorous move it has such a domino effect that it could help possibly right the ship as much as possible if its the correct edge. Thats why the dbs play 10 yds of thats why ramsey is looming more mortal than usual thats why AD can be triple teamed. AD accounts for almost half the rams pathetic pressure rate and has 2 sacks. Its wild to me that how thats not being seen. You cant keep blitzing and playing off because thats where teams will go short and bust big ones or run because your sending a blitz and they know it and they can kill you. You must improve the superior unit I. Effect that will help the unit that right now is inferior but partially to lack of health. The edge for us or the defense in general not injured just lacking.
The defense doesnt have Brian Allen coming back or Shelton or Van jefferson and while the jusry still out on Shelton and even allen to an extent they were always penciled in as starters. Where as edge is litterally abysmal rt now probably worse than the o-line.
Ad needs that same help maybe even more.
Hard to explain what's going on with that Defensive front, seems Donald is doing his Donald thing, but Gaines has been struggling with injury and even Robinson seems off at times. Floyd has disappeared this season and with no-one really producing on the opposite side, we've been facing some bleak times on occasion, although they are far from our worst overall unit. Copeland has done well in reserve, but Hoecht & J. Williams have had few snaps and may be more suitable for the practice squad. Donald isn't getting any younger and his snaps, like last year, are approaching 90%, whereas Robinson is closer to 57%, although the afflicted Gaines is at a personal high of near 84%, topping his past highs by almost 20%. I am a bit concerned over exhaustion/fatigue for a couple of our starters. We may not have a Van Jeff, Allen or Shelton returning for the D, but we do have big Bobby Brown re-entering the picture, so hopefully he can add some relief as well as some bulk to that interior. jmo.
