My 2 cents:

-2 1st's for Burns, no thank you. He could be elite, but, at this moment, he is not elite. The numbers don't lie. Sure, he'd be better here with the Donald factor, but worth same as Ramsey? Not a chance.
- Go after Sweat, Chubb, or Hughes in that order IMO.
- Maybe a package deal of Sweat and Gibson for Akers and picks/player combo. Skins are going no where this season and could use the capital to rebuild
- I really know we don't need a WR, but there are several that intrigue me and I'm sure McVay. Jeudy has never lived up to his college elite level of play. Give up the dream of OBJ (who may not even be healthy or himself the entire year as he recovers still) and see what they want.
- Same for Elijah Moore and Toney, could be awesome in our offense.
- I could also see McVay intrigued by Gesicki being on the block. We are short on TE's, but, maybe with Hopkins back we are ok.

He is a notch below Michael Parsons if you put him on Dallas defense and put Parsons on Carolina we would be discussing him in the same breath.....he isn't just an edge guy he does everything well it's rare that edges aren't just that edges pressure guys etc. He can tackle he can be excellent against the run seal the edges and contain. He would be a perfect counter to CMC.

That said I'm ok with
Chubb
Sweat

Burns is not worth 2 1st he is not that elite. The biggest mistake Carolina is making is assuming Burns wants to resign with them if I was him I wouldn't. The coach was fired and the interim coach is not the answer in Wilkes. If I am at the top of my game I want to explore my options and to me Carolina is not where I want to be - small market - no QB - less of a run game etc. Carolina better understand where Burns stands.

When did they clear an edge spot?

Tak ..... their point is it's repetitive cycle like last year and this year we have only 3 edge on roster so a 4th edge will be added.
List of suspects remains the same:
Burns
Chubb
Quinn

I'm just ok with Quinn but rather avoid the salary and not sure he can seal edge and contain. After Chubb I'd like to see Sweat added

Boy if the Rams suck what would that make the bucs if they lose to the Panthers with no CMC. This year is downright weird.

Btw Antonio Gibson TD today as wideout impressive even though only a 9yder pitch and catch shows his versatility

ER/OLB Daniel Hardy? Hardy impressed in the preseason and was active on the edge. Made the MR53 but had an Ankle injury & procedure on August 31, 2022. He has been out for more than 7 weeks now.

This parity ain't helping. The Bucs losing pretty much eliminates us getting Burns as they are literally still in the running for their division. Honestly didn't think this would be a possibility. Crazy ass year so far. Gotta imagine Panthers will stand pat on what they want unless Burns really pushes to get out.

Wouldn't be great if Rams make the playoffs and faced the giants as first opponent lololol

Sometimes a change of scenery helps and Clyde Edwards-Helaire does not have the injury history. Although smaller, Edwards-Helaire ball security is superior plus has better vision IMO a good trade for both teams.

Rams will have a bevy of options at running back in 2023
