Yeah, and 2 of those RBs were on the street 3 weeks ago. They need someone else imo.The Rams used THREE different RBs yesterday and Williams is due back.
1)I wouldn’t part with any draft capital just yet, especially for a RB.
2) not sure the Rams have anybody tantalizing enough to trade for a RB unless another GM is eyeballing one of our rookie DBs.
Do we really want to part with one of them?
3) for all of those who malign Henderson, he is an excellent blocker in the passing game.
4) the only position I would consider trading away draft capital for would be OL…and I’m not sure I wanna do that just yet.
Some think so. I'm just not one of them.Don't we already kind of have that with our RB committee though? If it were me I'd focus on acquiring some OL who can block as though they played in the NFL.
Sounds good but what kind of OL would they get for Akers?Trade Akers for an Olineman, sign OBJ and trade a WR for a RB. There might be a future draft pick involved too.
I have to believe the Rams are finally figuring out what isnt working on their offense. They have no power running game and won’t this year. They have a number of weapons but each is unique in skills and usage. They have to give Stafford more options than Kupp/Higbee and more time to work with. With zJefferson returning, Skow becoming a Swiss Army knife, Powell becoming a shifty option and maybe TuTu/OBJ being uncorked it’s a short pass game with misdirection and surprise that will carry this team. Add figuring out Robinson’s usage (???) and we might see an energized offense coming out of the bye week. The missing ingredient will be a replacement for Akers with a short yardage runner and some reinforcements on the OL. McSnead will be working 30 hours a day to turn every stone. I’m a homer but that’s my take and I’m sticking with it.
I'm confused now. Are you talking about another player and not Evans?I think it’s more about reps at a position he’s not used to.
He graded out the same as Evans has, roughly,
This guy trades.^I think the Rams ought to bite the bullet and sign OBJ the trade from that place of strength and future draft picks to get one or two Olinemen and a RB.
It all kind of tells you to invest in, aquire, and develop OL years in advance, doesn't it.Sounds good but what kind of OL would they get for Akers?
The Broncos lost their #1 RB (Williams); and the #2 RB (Gordon) has had fumble issues. Just don't know that Denver has an OL it would move that could start for the Rams.
There are not a lot of Austin Corbett / Cleveland situations out there. Prior to the season, I brought up Tevin Jenkins from Chicago. Like Corbett, Jenkins had a very disappointing rookie season, and the Bears had a new coaching staff and front office. Unfortunately, Jenkins won the starting-RG-spot; and may not be available.
Hope I am wrong.
Edwards… my bad. Evans graded out similar to Edwards.I'm confused now. Are you talking about another player and not Evans?
Lol......I was like what? Yeah we need an upgrade over both, but I get it's probably not possible this year.Edwards… my bad. Evans graded out similar to Edwards.
To be fair, Evans has graded out pretty much identical to himself.Edwards… my bad. Evans graded out similar to Edwards.
Burns is one of two players Carolina said is untouchableI'd kill for Brian Burns on our team. I'd give up two future first round picks, our second, and a good young player or two for him.
