In case it wasn't clear, I was referring to the compensation he gets for trading his own players away. Like Ernest Jones, for example.
I didn’t catch that.

All good though we all want the same thing and today we got better.
I feel like we have won more than we have lost across the board in regard to deals.

Context is big too, if the Jets make this deal it is a head scratcher but when a team whose window is closing with their current QB and who are arguably 1 or 2 players from the Super Bowl it makes sense.

Love love love this trade.

We are in a win now mode before the great free agency departure in 2027. A CB had to be prioritized. A rookie is a gamble so grabbing an elite proven vet is a grand slam.

I watch all Chiefs games due to wife being a chiefs fan and Mcduffie is a phenom. He can do everything including holding up man on man vs #1 WRs in a blitz heavy scheme.

My only concern is whether the Rams can run the scheme to take advantage of Mcduffies skill set.

Nothing burger if you read her actual tweet.

Sorry couldn't resist

Look since I agree with JYB on giving up slightly too much, I'll chime in......there's zero evidence that what you're stating would happen. What if Snead was a bit more price sensitive and still got McDuffie? See what I did there, we can all talk hypotheticals all day. Also why would someone bitch when FA or the draft hasn't come around to allow the Rams to go about improving the team. McDuffie is a Ram and Snead addressed a massive need. This topic, by myself and others, has been beat senseless.... I'm choosing to agree to disagree while simultaneously being happy we got a CB1. So my fellow Rams bro, what other areas do you think the Rams may address cuz according to Jourdan, Snead may not be done. I might just have a raging boner soon if this man pulls some shit off like the past.
That's the bottom line. Love having Les as GM, love the moves he made, love getting McDuffie (was hoping and expecting this move) and there are few GMs I'd want over him. I just think (i.e., my opinion, based on lots of considerations) that he tends to give up too much for player acquisitions and gets too little in return for his own players. Shrug. Why some people act like I called their children ugly over this is kinda strange.

Looking forward to Les working some magic in free agency next.

I’m commenting on the actual contents of people’s posts, seemingly eager to see our minority coaching staff poached by other teams just to get a comp pick at the end of round three. I would rather keep the competent coaching staff with the Rams. You have always been a condescending poster to people who don’t agree with your “ analysis” so maybe you should check yourself and not be so sensitive.
Seeing the faults in others is a real strength of yours. Carry on with your bad self though.

I read some other fan comments on the trade and was a little bit surprised by how many people had no idea who the player was........One said McDuffie was botton of the barrel and a fan of the same team told him to stop making the fans of their team look stupid!

Not once have I posted anything about being solely excited for minorities to get hired just to get picks. That's the NFL that makes up these rules so thats a bone you need to pick with them. I hope coaches get hired because they earned it as those guys all put in work to be better at their craft. I normally don't get into about these kind of posts, but man are you full of shit. I was hoping this shit was a cruel joke but sadly it doesn't seem so. I'm a minority myself so this makes this shit even worse coming at me like that unwarranted earlier. Your observations are way off.

What matters is can he get enough quality on this roster for us to hoist another Lombardi in this Stafford window. And I have to say that if he invests heavily in our defense it has a good chance of happening.

So from there if he paid a bit more than he should have to get the guy he wanted, it's no big deal.

I think if the Rams were not in a win now mode, with a 38 yr old QB, Snead may have offered a little less. Instead they had a severe need on a SB caliber team, and they made sure he addressed it.

BTW, the last time they added a 26 yr old stud CB, they gave up two #1's and a #4. So how much of an over pay is this when they gave up picks 29, 168, 206... and maybe a pick in the 90's next year?
