You can't possibly surmise that without knowing what other factors were in play. You have no idea whether other teams had competing offers for some of those players, for example.It seems pretty clear to any unbiased observer that Les generally over pays and under-receives in trades. And to be fair to Les, the Falcon trade was a very good one, for sure. But he's always paid a very steep price for player trades -- Ramsey, Stafford, Von, and now McDuffie. I don't know why pointing out this rather obvious fact makes people think I don't like Les as a GM or that I didn't like the players he traded for. It's like they feel personally insulted or something. Weird.
You say its an obvious fact. I say I trust the decisions of a superbowl winning GM more than I trust anonymous Internet commenters arbitrary concept of "value".
