I started this thread but 100% didn’t title it what it’s titled now. I have no idea why it says that.

Oh cmon with this. Nobody would be running on a torn ACL. Get this bullcrap out of here.

I’m skeptical too. I don’t think he’s anywhere near 100% but that doesn’t look anything like a guy with a torn ACL.

Swelling, perhaps.

Maybe you should actually read the posts you quote my dude.

First of all be a little more respectful. Don't talk tough on the internet lol. Second of all I swear your post said playoffs, if I saw wrong then I apologize.

Mods will occasionally edit thread titles to account for potential additional information as we see fit. We would rather do that than have multiple threads on the same subject.

Saw something where on one run he got to a higher speed than anybody else on the day.

Just saw something to the effect that due to health laws, his "illness" can't be disclosed.
...sorry, I can't even remember where I read that (I'm at work right now).

That law probably doesn’t apply to football injuries.

I have a feeling the FO may be shopping Gurley on the trade block during this off season.

We will see. I think something is up for sure. ACL tear would be high risk to play on. Serious stability issues. Partial tear hurts more and swells more than full tear my surgeon told me when I had mine done.

I saw this too, over 19mph if I remember correctly. If he's been toughing it out and playing with a stretch or partial tear, thats insane. Shows how elite of an athlete he is after the Dal game and some of the other explosive runs.

Keeping my fingers crossed, hopefully no surgery!

This seems to be a very reasonable expectation if in fact Gurley is healthy. They made him the highest paid RB ever and by the end of the season they decided C.J. Anderson deserved half his reps. And the hot hand theory doesn’t work because CJ averaged under 3 yards a carry over the last 2 games.

IF he is healthy and was good to go, I’d say there’s at least a decent chance he’s in a different uniform next year.

I believe it was Gurley's cutting ability that was rumored to be compromised by injury, more so than his straight-line speed, so I am not sure that speed stat says much.

The reality is that we might never know what, if anything, was up with Gurley. Even if he is hurt, the organization might never come out and say anything, for not wanting to change their tune and drawing criticism. And if the injury doesn't require surgery, Gurley and the Rams could quite conceivable just keep things in the dark until he's healed up for next year.
