So does no one remember when Sherman blew his Achilles? He said it was barely hanging on but I don’t remember him being on any injury report or the shecocks being fined. I’m guessing we’re over thinking a lot of this. Everyone knew Gurley was not quite right. Let’s not kid ourselves. Was the ACL torn - partially or otherwise? Possibly. Did McVay trot him out there on a fully torn ACL and knew about it? Unlikely.

I’ve heard about many athletes being injured and even having torn ACLs without realizing it. Some even admitting that they suspected it was torn.

It’s probably best if we kinda hold our judgements on the situation - including a member letting us know what he’s heard from what he considers a reliable source. It will all come out in the wash.

The Shithawks were warned. They like the Shithawks.

We'd get fined, lose 2 first round picks, and be forced to forfeit half the salary cap. And they'd force 2 more of our coaches to take head coaching jobs.

If he has one, I imagine it does bother him. Some here and on other threads question his mental state. Is he mad at McVay? Mad CJ got so much playing time? Depressed and ready to quit because of an ACL. Maybe they are saying itbecause he refused to talk after his physical. But people mentioned it.

I just said I think he has some kind of injury because he was limping. Some are saying he isn’t injured at all. Then why limp along the sideline? Was it fake? He has something wrong imo.
I never have said Gurley is 100% healthy I was the one on board about needing a cleanup on the knee in the summer. I just doubted the acl tear. The discussion was about the acl tear and if you believe it is true. You called out the doubters correct? So I assumed you were on the side of believing he tore it. If I miss interpreted you post I apologize and agree Gurley is hurt I just don’t think it’s to the extent of an acl tear.

There is literally no way that Gurley has endured a COMPLETE ACL tear. His knee would have swollen up to the size of a bowling ball with blood and fluid that would have to be drained. Walking would be extremely difficult. Playing football right away would be IMPOSSIBLE. There is no way to hide any of this so unless he is an alien with a different anatomy from any other human - whatever ails him is not a COMPLETE ACL tear. I base this on what I endured in having torn an ACL playing rugby when I was in my early 20s.

Wait for it.

Why did he have an mri after the Philly game? Just standard operating procedure? So he had mri’s after every game, right?

No. There was a problem. To be clear, it is just me speculating about that shot to the knee in the Philly game. Others point to the awkward tackle in the Bears game. We may never know.

But who said a tear happened in either game? Not me. I just think the signs of an injury occurred then. Not a tear, necessarily.

I don’t even accuse the team of hiding anything major. Maybe they downplayed inflamation, or a strain, or something.

But it was only 24 hours ago TG had his year-end physical. Something showed itself in that physical.

It may have happened in the Super Bowl. But the team is in PR mode. Gurley is not speaking. I am just telling you what is coming.

But I am just “a source” to you. And my friend, that I will at least disclose to you is a Ram fan in the medical field, is a serious person to me. But just a “source” to you. I don’t blame you.

But keep in mind, news sources are just people, too. I have a journalism degree. Does that make me a journalist? No. I don’t call myself that. I work in another industry.

But many of us have come to understand that many major news sources are actually very unreliable. The truth is all that matters. I ask a lot of questions.

You will believe the Washington Post, but be sceptical of what I say. Mkay.

Only one of us has a reputation of pathological lies.

Ultimately I wish for the best for TG and the Rams. We will find out in due time.
You came out and showed pictures of the hit on gurleys knee during the philly game and said this is where he tore it, you didn’t say I believe this is where it happened. Any type of aggravation to Gurleys knee could lead to him getting an mri just to rule out stuff like an acl tear. I am going to go out and say either your friend is a doctor and a rams fan and speculated he tore it after watching the film and that’s fine but unless he was the doctor that examined him and 100% confirmed that it was torn. This is just a rumor and your friend is just another fan. If not just give us more insight on who your friend is we don’t need names but something better then rams fan/ medical
