If his ACL was torn I don't think he can look as explosive as he did against the Cowboys. For better or worse, after all the money we just invested in Gurley, I think we would have shut him down. Maybe not if he was injured on the eve of the Super Bowl. But you don't run your franchise back on a torn ACL for 2 months.

Even just the thought of a torn ACL, no matter how unlikely, scares the pants off me. Tearing the same ACL twice could be disastrous for a RB's career at worst and, at best, would carry noticeable repercussions.

I agree. I’m just guessing he partially tore it here. Probably kept it under raps and tried to play/decoy throughout playoffs at 70%.

It may have fully torn in the Super Bowl. I’ll let you know if I hear more before it comes out.

It may have been a PCL. Which would explain him resting and then his lack of mobility when he came back.

This would be catastrophic.. Our offense is completely different when he's not on the field. Its so difficult to make it to a super bowl, if TG is injured it could be years before we make it back.

I disagree, Todd is the key to our offense and play action passing game. CJ wont run for 21 touchdowns and have 1,800+ yrds.
