Perhaps, but the Ram own the Falcons #1 draft pick, so we want them to get the highest pick possible, so have to root for the Bucs.
I get it:

But I'm playing for the season..... Draft pick stuff is something I just toy with until the time comes and a serious decision has to be made.

For the season a Buccaneer loss helps the Rams correct?

If the Rams win Sunday I will certainly change my stance.
No, a Buccaneer loss is extremely unlikely to help the Rams in the standings.

And a TB win HELPS the Rams tremendously with next year's Falcons draft pick.

Bucs are 7-6, Rams are 10-3, and Rams own the tiebreaker over the Bucs due to their head-to-head win. So the only possible way the Bucs could overtake the Rams in the playoff seeding would be if Bucs go 4-0 and Rams go 0-4. Just no way that's gonna happen.

So yeah, every Rams fan in the world should be rooting for a Bucs win and a Falcons loss tonight.

Well thank you for that:

I will change my stance..... Go Bucs!!!!!

I like it when people like you paint conclusions the way you just did... You don't try to make people look stupid, and by doing so you come off very astute. :thumbsup1:

My Thermal Dynamics Professor was very much worded like yourself.... And he was a cool guy...... well for a professor.

Cheers man, thanks for that post.

Only thing I'd add is ya gotta try to edit your most recent post... you accidentally typed in the wrong team name after you'd decided to switch your stance! (Probably too late now though, I think there's only a 30-minute window where the platform allows for posts to be edited).

To be honest, I made the same mistake myself in an earlier post-- I mixed up the words "loss" and "win" myself, and had to go back and "edit" the damn thing. Shit happens.

Bottom line, go Rams. And tonight, go Bucs!

I want to be careful to respect any legitimate Rams fans but I gotta ask. Are you sure you’re a Rams fan? Just to be sure can you identify what town they currently call home?

No worries: Just a brief overview:

My pops and most of his family migrated from Portugal in 1945.
My mom migrated from Juarez Mexico in 1944
Parents hooked up in Trinidad Co. (don't know what year)
Parents became citizens in 1951
I was born in Trinidad Co in 1964
My Dad was drafted in 1965 to fight in Vietnam (MARINE) and came home in 1968. Two of my uncle on my dads side and one on my mothers side were killed Vietnam, and one my uncles (dads side) later committed suicide 5 years after coming home from Vietnam in 71.
We moved from Trinidad Co to Placentia Ca 1968 then eventually La Puente Ca 1969 where me and my five siblings terrorized the town.

Moved out to go to college at 18 (San Jose CA).

After that Lived in various places in SoCal and now reside in La Verne CA for 3 years..... Love the place.

We still have our childhood home in Trinidad Co and La Puente CA.

Man how things have changed in CA over the years.
