The Rams will beat the 49ers next weekend

Two second half meltdowns in three weeks. This is why I hate that McVay shuts everything down in the second half with a two score lead. I know he wasn't exactly doing it today but I'd rather that this team played all the way to the whistle even in blowouts, instread of the laid back defense and three runs and out office. In season its practicing to play mediocre football in the second half. It creates bad habits imo.

Do what is working till they stop it. Don't let up ever.

I think there will be a rematch of Chiefs vs Niners SB. Outcome will be the same. The Niners are too strong and are our kryptonite.

It's mostly on the offensive and defensive line of both teams. Stafford needs time to throw and Akers needs some holes to run throw.

Need to use Akers in the passing game more. Those wheel routs will kill them.

Yeah he whiffed. It happens. LF is a great running back, he'll make people miss in the backfield. Just tired of seeing people call for players benching when they have a subpar performance or if they make a mistake. None of the Rams players have been perfect this year. In fact there's been some downright bad play from good players at times. Just hate seeing the sky is falling over something that happens to everyone.

I appreciate what Reeder has done for us in getting us through some big games. But this defense is different with Jones in there. I just hope Jones is fully back and can be that guy we were seeing before he got hurt.

tackling and discipline are a must to shut down the cut back runs...seems like anytime Debozo goes wide, he cuts back in after all the over pursuit, just like his TD run in Dallas... maybe wrap you sleeves with the hard plastic side of Velcro so they can hang on to tackles on first contact...

Eh players miss tackles. AD missed a tackle against Conner against the cards that went for a TD in our second game this year. He completely whiffed. It happens. If Reeder makes that tackle he's the hero, since he didn't he's the zero. It's not his fault they were put in those positions. If anyone should be sat it's Akers if we're being honest, oh and Allen too! I mean it's their faults right? Oh wait we should sit Kupp too. And while we're at it, Ramsey.
Not trying to put anyone on blast here but in reality players miss assignments / tackles all the time, in every game.

Sure tackling is a must. In our last game against the whiners, I was ready to break the television seeing the RB get hit in the backfield only to break free to gain 7 or 8 yards. It was difficult to watch.

Stopping the run must be a priority against the whiners.

Won't know until first injury report probably but it seemed like the word of mouth was that Deebo was going to be fine but Trent Williams might be more serious being that he was on crutches after the game and had to have xrays done.

I think Warner is the best in the business. But yes I'd definitely like to see more Akers mixed in with the passing game. And then give some of those early snap handoffs to Michel and let him do his thing banging around wearing out the defense.

It's not comparing the player or their skill level, it's fans cherry picking a couple plays from any given sunday. Every player makes mistakes. Reeder is our best run defender @ LB. Love it or hate, we're stuck with him until at least next season.

I disagree that he's are best but we may be stuck with him only if Jones is unable to go.I guess your missing the whole point of my original post, that I want Jones to play so Reeder is not needed as much. We are so much better with Jones at that spot vs Reeder.

McVay and Morris will not make those kind of mistakes again, especially not after another near disaster (though caused by turnovers) of letting Tampa Bay back in the game.

Jones is easily the best run defending linebacker. He has better read and react skills. Sheds blocks better, runs and tackles well.

Niners have talented players but at the end of the day can't match us on either side of the ball.

The niners have 3 players. Deebo, Kittle and Warner. Stop Deebo stop the niners. Kittle had 5 receptions for 10 yards in our last game.

If he doesn't play or is severely hobbled, that's a game-change with how well Von is playing.
