What's the story on Cheffers?
Well, he can't be that bad. The last two games he reffed for us were our win over the Cardinals this season (game #2, not the playoffs) and the Wolford win over the Cardinals last year.

Plus his crew has the fewest penalties in the playoffs.

I really hope that the Rams player and coach took to heart the lesson that the Bucs gave them this weekend (which was a repeat of what the whiners did). Do not let your foot off the gas in the second. Unless you are up 30+, NFL teams can come back. Do not play prevent and off man defense to protect from the "big" plays. The small ones all add up to the redzone the same.

I was beside myself watching the Rams self destruct but it might turn out to be a blessing in disguise for several reasons.

The Rams are 3-0 against Brady since he went to Tampa Bay. Brady was on the verge of pulling off a miracle comeback only to have his hopes dashed by Stafford and Cooper Kupp. And Matt Gay got to boot his old team out of the playoffs.

And McVay and Morris know that no lead is safe. After Miller stripped the ball from Brady and we had it in FG range, I told myself, run the damn ball, maybe get a first down or two but no way give up a chance for a FG and make the game a 3 score lead with under 10 minutes in the 4th quarter. 5 seconds later the ball gets snapped over Stafford's head and my blood pressure is going thru the roof.

I hope that McVay now realizes you can't just run up the middle to protect the lead. Stafford was on so a safe play action short passing game attack would have been okay with Stafford eating a short sack if needed to keep the clock going.

I won't feel safe unless we're up 37-3 in the 4th quarter with less than 10 minutes left. Even then I might feel stress after this last game.

"end of rant"

This board isn't as bad as some others. Some have posters that almost worship the 9ers outright. It's sickening.
I am almost insane with my hatred for that team and its fans. They are suck cocky fucks, I want them to freakin' get humiliated and destroyed. It's so insane that if you asked me which I wanted more....To beat the Niners in the NFC Championship game or win the Super Bowl, it's about even for me.

LET'S SNATCH THEIR SOULS!

Pretty sure Reeder plays on run downs and Jones pass downs

Second game against the Cardinals snap counts Jones -68, Reeder - 7

Jones was taking over the snap counts as the season went on. He didn't start getting playing time

Covid game vs Seattle Jones - 55, Reeder - 24

Once Jones started gaining the trust of coaches his snap counts went up. Reeder's went down. Then Jones got injured and Reeder's snaps went back up. For a while it was Jones and Reeder playing together.

Like I said believe what you want. I know what I see on the field. Jones is fast, diagnoses plays quickly and sheds blocks. He can play sideline to sideline. Reeder is much slower especially laterally. Reeder may be bigger but he's no London Fletcher out there.

.

It should be Jones and Howard. Which is what I thought it was gonna be when the season started. They compliment each other so well.

Instead it was Reeder and Young.

Agreed. I didn't like what Jones showed in preseason but dude has balled out once he got in real action.

Howard in coverage could be our x factor for covering the middle of that field, which is our Achilles heel. I keep mistaking him for a DB due to his speed until I look closer and notice it's #32.

Dude I’ve watched every rams game for the last 20 years
Are you in the UK?

I'm curious to know how you got to see games prior to Game Pass? When I moved to the US in 2006 I only saw games that were on Sky. I honestly didn't know there was another option as streaming was so spotty and plagued with virus issues.

In the 80s' I used to listen on AFN on medium wave. It was fine at the beginning of the season until the nights closed in medium wave became scared of the dark and it was utter shit.

Great memories though listening to Dickerson beat up on teams.
