Today was the first match of my new local club the Reno 1868 FC. For those wondering why the number that's the year the city of Reno was incorporated.

The club is part of the USL, which is the MLS' minor league system we're the affiliate of the San Jose Quakes. They had a friendly against the parent club today and lost 0-1. For a lot of the game they looked better than the parent club. It was very entertaining and somewhat of a miracle for the weather. From about 3 hours prior to kickoff until now has been the only time in the last 48 hours that it hasn't been raining or snowing. It was a good time had by all :D

He bloody well should be! I actually quite like the players he's signed especially the full backs who are a massive upgrade but he simply doesn't know what he's doing.

He's chopping and changing in the hope that he stumbles across a system that works.

It's a bit like having Lee Clark back and that's saying something cus some old timers are adamant that Clark was the worst manager they'd ever seen down there.

What a joke. Does the unbelievable and then gets sacked 8 months later.

Hope they get relegated.

Forest are looking for a manager. Only a very short move for him too. ;)

Apparently he donated half of his pay off from Leicester City back into the club's charitable foundation. He's always had a reputation for being a class act but, if true, that confirms it.

Having said that, I can understand why the board have made the move when they did. A club's Premier League status is worth far too much and Leicester had been dreadful for a while.

After smacking Liverpool the owners must feel justified now ... - still a long way to go yet.

I doubt it, be appearing in the Champions League round of 16 on a consistent basis Arsenal earn approximately 34 million euros, added to the prize money from the Premier League prize money of £101 million for 2015 / 16 that's a pretty significant sum and we haven't even looked at ticket sales and the other two domestic cups.

Arsenal are a cash cow that just keep paying dividends to the owners

Barcelona wow. PSG just went Falcon's style choke lol. On a side note Christian Pulisic had a great game (goal and assist) for Dortmund in Champions league to help them advance.

This is absolutely true unfortunately. We've got Gary Rowett coming back to St Andrews on Saturday with Derby who should beat us and then Lord knows what happens from there. Got the V*lla later this month too at their sh1thole on the other side of the expressway and they're doing well now so we'll get humped by them just to make things worse.

All true.

I wasn't expecting to get anything from the Brighton game the other night but I also wasn't expecting them to score after 2 mins rendering the game effectively over with 88 mins remaining.

Very flimsy defensively like you say.

Havent paid much attention to the Championship outside of Newcastle because of US player Deandre Yedlin but does Eric Lichaj still play much for Forest? And if so has he been good or bad? I always liked him in his few times i seen him play for US but he always gets overlooked in callups.

Yes and he scored on the weekend as we beat Huddersfield Town 2-0 !!!

:D

He's been a bit up and down - but a more determined player you're not likely to meet. I for one am a fan of his application.

Palace completely took the piss there. It was embarrassing for Arsenal and for us after last Wednesday's showing.
