Yeah that 4 years we didn’t have to wait created ‘ The Shittiest Show On Turf’. I might disagree with you on this just a little!!

@dolphinlover123 see what I mean? Lol
Kurt would not have helped once he got healthy with that shit show in 2007 thru 2011

2002 - last year with Rams

2003 2004 2005 2006 - 4 years

2007 - he started to play much better than he had

4 games into 2002, injured (0-4). Out. Martin starts game #5, a loss, 0-5. Bulger replaces him and the Rams win 5 in a row. Warner sees his grip on TGSOT slipping away and comes back before he's actually ready. Rams lose to Washington when Warner is sacked with 17 second left by Arrington on the Washington 13 (the LOS was the 6) and fumbles, game over. Then the Rams lose 10-3 the next week in Philly in freezing weather. Warner goes on IR, Martin is under center against KC, another loss. Bulger comes back and wins one, then loses one. He played 6 games in 2002 and went 0-6. Then started game 1 of 2003, a loss in NY to the Giants when he fumbled 5 TIMES (still injured????) losing 3 and threw a pick. That was his last game as a Ram but his last game as Kurt Warner was SB36. It took him 6 years, 2 teams and 1 glove to get back to normal. And the Rams were supposed to wait? Loved the guy. Appreciated the entertainment, the SB win and all the phenominal comebacks. But there was something wrong with him from 2002-2003 and he didn't fare much better in NY or Arizona until he put on the glove.

It's not at all about what he said. He has the right to feel how he feels, and say what he wants to say.

Just like I have the right to post this in my frustration that he didn't come to work ready to play, costing us multiple games in a year we were set up to win the whole enchilada.

It almost made it worse when he laid it all out there, injured and all, and gave everything he had late in the season. It made it blatantly obvious his mind was elsewhere for key parts of the season against inferior opponents.

You can doubt me, but that would be YOUR right.

Doubt isn't a strong enough word. I think you're full of it, just like the Warner haters back in the day.

That’s exactly how I felt. After watching him in the playoffs.

What else could he say though? He almost comes out and says what many are thinking, but then he cut it short. He needed this. He said that. The way I take it is he needed a kick in the pants. He got a pretty hard one all the way to Detroit.

Was he talking about Tyrell Williams when he said Jamal? If so that’s a bad look for the leader of the team.

No, he was talking about Jamaal Williams, the HB from the Packers they had just signed. Jeez.

Just cant understand the hate for this guy. My god.

It's unbelievable. It's deja vu from the Warner treatment. This fucking fanbase, man. We have zero playoff appearances and winning seasons for almost a decade and a half, and people are this bitter and resentful over a QB who led us to four winning seasons, three playoff appearances, and a Super Bowl in the last four years. Ridiculous. It's not like Goff asked to be traded.

Kurt leaving was the best for both parties. He wouldn't have had his resurgence here, and Bulger was the better option at the time due to Kurt's hand issues. But I loathed the parts of our fanbase who decided to slander Kurt on his way out and after he left. Felt the same way about Martz and Boinie defaming him. Seeing it happen again with a QB who gave his all to this franchise and also helped lift us out of the dumps sickens me.

I'm a fan of the team, not the players. I never hook my wagon to any player because they don't stay long. Dickerson, Warner and others became the enemy when they left. Just my 2 cents worth

Why would new threads pimping the new QB bother you.

I don't think they should, as long as they're about hyping up the new QB and not criticizing the old one. People should get excited for Stafford. He's the guy now. Unfortunately, many of those threads turn into talking trash about how Goff can't do X or Y and other hyperbolic stuff. (Blows my mind that people think a Pro Bowl pocket passer can't read defenses.) So at this point, I have just started avoiding them.

They don't at all but most of the time with other players especially new players they're filtered into one or two threads. But like Jrry said almost any thread about Stafford or any player on offense turns in to a shit on Jared. And we should be used to it by now from Warner to Bulger to Bradford and now on to Jared people cannot act with any class at all about a former player. It really shouldn't surprise me either since they couldn't act that way when he was our QB. The guy piloted us to a SB and you'd think he was the worst QB the Rams ever had by the way some people act about him.

Check the title. Not a Stafford thread.

Criticizing fans for their feelings.. Maybe everyone should consult with you about the appropriate way to be a fanatic. I bet they didn’t know there was a set of rules to follow.

I backed Goff right up to the last few games. But I don’t expect everyone else to just because I think that way.

Martz hung qbs out to dry. Bulger was beaten to a pulp, retired early, and probably still has PTSD. Warner would have been killed if he had continued to play for Martz. NY wasn't the right spot either, but Warner showed his championship mettle with the Cardinals:

"On January 18, Warner threw for 279 yards, four touchdowns, and no interceptions against the Philadelphia Eagles to lead the Cardinals to their first Super Bowl appearance in history. Warner is one of four quarterbacks who made Super Bowl starts with two teams (alongside Craig Morton, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady).

"In Warner's third career Super Bowl appearance on February 1, the Cardinals lost Super Bowl XLIII 27–23 to the Pittsburgh Steelers, leaving him with a career 1–2 record in Super Bowls. Despite losing, Warner still managed to throw for 377 yards (the fourth-highest total in Super Bowl history). He completed 72.1% of his passes, and had a quarterback rating of 112.3. Warner had now recorded the three highest single-game passing yardage totals in the history of the Super Bowl..."

No. He didn’t like ppl crapping on Goff on a Stafford thread. This is not a Stafford thread.
"But like Jrry said almost any thread about Stafford or any player on offense turns in to a shit on Jared." Doesn't jg play on offense?

I'm calling a spade a spade. When people act like asses, I'll call it out.
