Makes it worse that the Lions really earned that win.
Was talking to one of my Ram compadres about this and we remember when the Rams were getting apologies on Monday's for a missed call. It's just a damn shame and I feel for Dan Campbell and Lion fans.
Yeah, a gut punch. OTOH, I had Baltimore in a pretty big survivor pool and thought I was out. But don't things like that seem to happen to bad teams all the time?
The announcers were even like "the playclock ran out!" and then three seconds later the ball is hiked and kicked and they never mentioned it again. Lions can't catch a break.
absolute BS non call that determined the outcome. AND resulted in breaking one of the biggest NFL records because of it.
Shouldn't have given up a 4th and 19 to a team with no timeouts. Or maybe they Should've went for the jugular on their last offensive possession.

I think the good news for Lions fans, is that they are very close to being 2-1 right now.
They aren't getting beat down, but they need to clean a few things up.

While I understand it sucks for them.. they also had BAL backed up to 4th and 16 and didn't stop them. Just like the Rams/Saints non call, the Lions had opportunities to stop them prior.
Lots of bad or missed calls in every game. Lions benefited from a missed call earlier. It sucks but that's the reality of the NFL these days.
Except for the part where they gave up 4th and 19 to set up the kick.

It was the play before. The clock ran out when the ball was snapped to Lamar Jackson. Woulda made it a 71 yard attempt.
Could the Lions have thrown a challenge flag there?
That clock seemed to expire by 2+ seconds... and the play by play announcers called it out, then let slide.
Should have been delay of game there.
