Lol, the life of a Lions fan. They're so used to getting screwed by the refs some of them aren't even that pissed about it. They say at least it keeps their hopes of drafting number one alive. :laugh1:

absolute BS non call that determined the outcome. AND resulted in breaking one of the biggest NFL records because of it.
That may be the biggest booger in the bean dip of all.

was bad enough Elam transplanted a guy with no GD foot with a kick in the atmosphere of the moon

this is straight up bullshit

Could the Lions have thrown a challenge flag there?

That clock seemed to expire by 2+ seconds... and the play by play announcers called it out, then let slide.

Should have been delay of game there.
I don’t think so…..don’t think delay is ok to challenge and it was inside 2 mins so all reviews are booth reviews…..somebody got burned by that in week two I think….

Except for the part where they gave up 4th and 19 to set up the kick.

Well, I have a theory of time (I began thinking about this prior to using THC...LOL, although I have had a pretty amazing revelation since on this subject).

It's pretty in the weeds taking into account near infinite multiverses, Planck time and phasing between spaces, but it leads me to some easier stuff.

Basically, there will be X number of possible permutations (universes) that spring from this moment and survive.

There are permutations where the Lions don't give up that long 4th down, but there are also permutations where the ref called the time correctly.

All we have for our consciousness, tho, is this path.

The point, however, doesn't change. To end the game, the refs allowed an illegal play to go off and determine the outcome and that should NEVER be allowed to happen.

Honestly, presuming that the clock did hit 0:00, the game should be awarded to the Lions.

The one thing there is zero excuse for is accepting an incorrect outcome. However, unlike just about any other sport, the NFL refuses to EVER make any mistakes right, opting instead for a letter on Monday offering condolences which is just so chickenshit of the NFL.
