Easy decision for me. Wk 2 2018 v the Cards at the Colisseum. The only game I've been to on my only visit to the USA. My son and I saw Sam Bradford suit up for the Cards and get an absolute shellacking. Cooks, Gurley and Goff having huge days. Woods and Kupp lighting it up as well. I don't think they crossed the halfway line until th final qtr.

Absolutely tremdous experience. Would love to catch a game with the ROD crew at some point (adds to bucket list)

Everett’s first game in 1986 against the New England Patriots at Anaheim Stadium. It was an awesome shootout and we almost won but Eason threw a hail mary to Irving Fryar to win the game in the final minutes. Although it was a loss I remember that game vividly at 14 years old. It was awesome.
I too was at that game, it was Jim Everett’s debut as I recall He replaced Steve Dills in the 2nd quarter

A much anticipated debut and Everett played great, never forget the low keyed
Evvvvvvvvvvvvrettttt chant as he was moving the team, all he ever accomplished moving forward was to become the Rams most prolific passer ( to this day)

Alas Irving Fryar Hail Mary as time expired from Tony Eason spoiled the most exciting NFL game I’ve ever attended

i was literally right on top of that lucky play, to this day I’ll say to anyone Fryar had one foot out upon possession

Oh dang. Can't point to one, but several. Earliest was Rams at Buffalo September 20 1998 - Got jeered at by a couple of detectives saying they'd bury me where nobody would find me during the game. Class acts. Rams down 21-10 at half and win in last seconds on Superbowl winning Tony Banks QB sneak.

Redskins at Rams September 17, 2012 first draft pick bowl. Sam Bradford bests RG III. We chant thanks so much at Dan Snyder's limo as he leaves.

Rams at Colts November 10 2013. My cousin and I and our wives attend. He's a Colts fan.
It's Luck v Kellen fucking Clemens. The unexpected happens with Tavon Awesome playing like a first round pick and 3 TDs on the day.

Raiders at Rams November 30 2014. Derek Carr v Shaun Hill. Mismatch. The whole time my brother in law talking trash as he's a huge always from the (Mandalay) Bay, Just s(w)in Baby, raiders fan. Tre Tre blows up and the Raiders defense collapses.

Cowboys v Rams August 13 2016 - First preseason game back in the Colisseum. Rams ride victory on play of Spruuuu-ce.

Saints v Rams November 26, 2017. Rams dominate a Saints team 26-20 (they scored TDs against our second unit in Q4). We join the chants Who Dat Leaving after a failed onside kick.

Hopefully these brought back some good memories for y'all!

My memory sucks, why was it called the "Thordaddy" game?

In May 2015, RamsONDEMAND lost one of our most legendary members, Rich Harter.

Known here as Thordaddy, Rich was a regular contributor and close friend to all of us. He will be missed, but not forgotten.

We carry on our Rams tradition with Thor by our side.

I was at the Carolina game in Charlotte, 2001, when a crappy Panthers team played way over their heads and actually gave the Rams a good battle although the Rams still got it done. Faulk went apeshit that day, over 200 yards on the ground including a 70-yarder to the house. I was behind the Rams sideline as well, pretty cool.

Was also in Anaheim, Oct. '88, first time I saw the Rams live, vs. the Seahawks. Jim Everett threw for over 300 yards and 3 TDs in a 31-10 pasting of the Hawks. If I remember correctly, he threw TD's to Aaron Cox, Robert Delpino, and Damone Johnson that day. Seahawks only TD came off of a blocked FG attempt, other than that their offense was stymied and put up only 3 pts.

I just watched the highlights of that game. My gosh that team was fun to watch.

Thinking about the Thordaddy game last night... I remembered talking to your son when we all got to meet. He was pretty young and I distinctly remember telling him how cool his Dad was. I wonder... how old is that little guy now, and did he believe me when I told him how cool you are? Maybe he believes it now?

Didn't you guys drive up to The STL all the way from TX for that one? I remember thinking to myself - Damn, that's some serious fandom right there.

That game for Thordaddy was the best ever. Hands down the greatest Ram fan experience I’ve ever had and being their with the boy made it even better. Yeah just last week we drove through St Louis on our way from SB to Lexington and reminisced about what a great time we had. He’s still a Ram fan but have never been able to get the guy to become a diehard fan like us, which has to be my biggest failure as a father!!!
He’s 16 now and just as clueless about his dad as ever.
i think he’s from space honestly.
He ditched school recently to pursue his business. He’s a plant breeder. The guy has one of the largest private seed banks in the United States. I mean tomatoes alone he has like 3800 varieties. The dude has taken numerous trips to South America where he goes out with these locals and hunts down and records ultra rare corn and tomato species that he names and harvests them for his breeding program. From what i gather he specializes in crossing these n plants that have traits like self-fertilizing, drought tolerance, disease resistance, high-yield with domestic varieties to bring the traits from the wild into the domestic to make improved plants. It’s insane stuff. He bros down with all these guys from UC Davis to A&M and has a huge network that he is bringing together to create new varieties of vegetables and grains to deal with climate change and food supply issues we’ll be having in the future.
Guy is a freak.
I don’t know where he gets it from.
I am always concerned he needs to be touching more boobs than seeds but he has all these young chicks in his orbit so I just figure kids have more things on their mind nowadays than I did when I was young. I mean, my singular goal was to play in a great band so I could get laid and smoke weed all day. He’s trying to change the world’s food supply for the better.
What’s wrong with these kids?!!
Anyway, that’s one of the major reasons we left the beach was to get the guy set up with a farm and help support his progress.
His world is totally 180 from mine, but that doesn’t stop me from realizing he’s a pretty cool kid. will he ever think that of me? Probably not hahah
Here is a picture of the guy I took of him in Zion the other day.
He is taller than me but a lanky guy. I can still kick his ass but he’s looking a bit more dangerous now this reach.
All I know is your sons are badass and pull the hottest girls so i know you've taught them well. My boy is a fishing fanatic so I hope one day we can meet up and go out on the water and catch some fish.

That's awesome Andy!

Very cool to see him now. They grow up so fast. Sounds like he's found something he loves. They say that if you can find something that you can make money from that you love doing... you'll never have to "work" a day in your life.

Sounds like you guys are helping him with this passion he has. I doubt he's able to just head down to South America on his own hunting seeds. He's lucky to have such cool parents.

As far as you saying you failed as a Pops because he's not a diehard... that's just not possible my Brudda. I bet he holds the Rams near his heart more than you know. I've got 3 boys and one of them is a diehard Colts fan. Talk about horror and failure on my part! LOL The other two both are diehard Rams. My Colt fan son does claim the Rams as his 2nd team... but his brothers and I always tell him that there's no such thing as a "2nd team". Hahaha. Even though he chose to be a Colt fan on his own... we do salute him for staying true to his team once Manning left and his team started sucking for the 1st time in his life. Loyalty is important.

Kids always find their own paths and loves. We can't control it, no matter how hard we try to. We can only try and instill solid values and responsibilities in them that can help them down the line. That's a big job... but that's something we parents CAN control.

Thanks for sharing the recent pic. Hey... and remind him how cool you are again as soon as possible.

1987.
London, England. Vs the Broncos.
My uncle took me when I was a kid.
I got into the NFL at the time, but didn't support a team.
Became a rams fan from that day on.

There has to be one more piece to this... why the Rams that day?

without a doubt the Thordaddy game was my best. I really don't think that can ever be equaled. Hanging out at the bar trashing Seattle fans.

2nd best was a big tailgate party with a bunch of members from RRF. We had a meet and greet at Morgan St Brewery the night before and a huge tailgate the day off.

3rd was the Tampa Game the @Selassie I mentioned, but since I had a 4 hr drive home, the wife and I didnt partake in the after parties.

4th was a preseason game vs NE.... went with a friend and had a great time. Rams walked out with a 36-35 win with a late second FG...

When I started watching the NFL, it was a lot to get to grips with the rules and the teams and players.
It boomed in the UK in the 80s.
From watching highlights, i picked out my favourite position as running back.
Favourite players: Marcus Allen, Walter Payton, and Eric Dickerson.
This was midway through the 1986 season. The Bears beat the Pats in the Superbowl.
August 1987, my uncle got two tickets to the American Bowl, preseason games that were held in the UK, and i think elsewhere.
Anyway, I knew Dickerson would be playing.
When we got to Wembley, My uncle bought me a program and asked if I'd like anything else.
There was a huge picture of Dickerson on the program.
So, I asked if I could have a Rams cap.
I was officially a Rams fan.
The cap is one of my prized possessions.

drove up to see ED and the Rams vs. St. Louis Cardinals

Jeff Kemp completed 5 passes

ED stat line 21 carries, 208 yards

Mike Lansford kicked 3 field goals and Ron Brown caught a 52 yard TD pass

16-13

Typical ‘80’s Ram game: insert random QB, hand the ball to 29

Best: 2014 when we were down 21 points and came back and won in St. Louis. I've NEVER been able to move down 12 rows and find empty seats in a stadium. It was fun.

Worst: 2018 playoff game. I tailgated in the hood on Hoover street, so that was fun. Well, that's about it.

With the 12 games I've been fortunate enough to attend three of them stand out:

3) 2018 cowboys playoff game; becoming interested in the NFL in 2000, and watching the most exciting team ever. I never imagined having to wait 15+ years to witness this team win a playoff game (TV coverage sucked in my country and the internet was not yet in full streaming mode), and to actually be there in the fully packed historical colliseum is something I'll never forget. Also Jared Vick securing the victory with his scramble on third down had me going apeshit.
2) 2015 Home opener vs Seattle: What a roller coaster, seahawks coming off the most monumental choke job in super bowl history (till last year). This game had everything punt return TD, up by 2 scores, down by 1 score in the 4th quarter coming back in the last 2 minutes with Lance Kendricks on 40 yard bomb from Nick Foles. And of course Aaron Donald stopping Beast Mode on a 4th and 1 in OT to seal the deal.
1) 2018 TNF vs vikings: I have a lot of respect for NFL QB's and watching our young "system" QB put on the perfect QB game was special to me. Jared's TD pass to kupp in the corner of the end zone had everyone in disbelief. Our coach taking revenge for the year before by schooling Zimmer was the icing on the cake. I was convinced that day that we had a team strong enough to go to the super bowl and with this QB (and coach) will be in a good spot for many years to come.
