Generally speaking, I have really enjoyed this Rams season, but these last two playoff games have taken a toll on me.

Excruciating to watch the do-or-die games that are so close.

When Caleb made that miracle throw, I just screamed "NO!!" and walked out of the room.

Then, gob-smacked with surprised joy when Curl made the INT to save our season.

Props to @IowaRam with his comment : "God I hate football." After the game, I said to my wife, "Now we gotta do this again next week."

So... tell us your stories about how y'all deal with the stress. Shouting? Pacing? Swearing? Drinking? Frighten innocent bystanders?

I love our Rams, but the emotional investment.... sheesh!!

Trying to watch it at work was extremely stressful, and I get to do it again this week! Yay for me!
After reading your posts, it sounds like you are in the medical field. What type of specialized work do you perform?

I’m fortunate as I only work the occasional Sunday during the season through the first or second week of November.

I’m a firefighter paramedic. Unfortunately, I’m the only medic at my station this set, so I’m stuck on the ambulance during the game. Hopefully since I live in Seahawk territory there won’t be any emergencies during the game (which is surprisingly common )

I was lucky. I didn't get to watch it live because I was in Vegas w my wife having dinner. And as I walked by the sports book I saw the game winning FG. Then I got to enjoy the replay later that night while getting a beej. Pretty rad night actually

You and me are completely opposite. If that was me walking through that area after not seeing the score I would have a blindfold on and noise cancelling ear plugs.

I have no interest in watching a game if i already know the score.

After Rams turned it over after failing on the first drive in OT... I couldn't take it. Turned off TV, and made a sammich.

A few minutes later I checked ESPN... Rams had the ball on FG range.... Then the score went to "FINAL". Rams win.

Damn shocked, I was!!! After my heart restarted.... I was yelling around like an insane person....

I will never get people like that.

This is why we watch this wonderful sport.

The feeling of impending doom you go through for a few minutes watching the opposition work their way down the field. Suddenly changed to ecstacy when the Rams get an interception. Followed by the greatest feeling of all, anticipation, watching Stafford work the Rams down the field for the winning fg.

Why the hell would you want to miss that?

Don't know if you've had a chance to see a re-play of the game, but... the Bears possession in OT was absolutely brutal to watch.

Slow, steady, efficient. Camera panned over to Stafford on the sideline, dejected. On 3rd and 4, when Caleb barely gutted out a run for a first down, the Bears seemed to be the team of destiny. When they got past midfield, it looked inevitable.

So impressed with how Curl came up with the INT and the offense closed it out.

I haven't progressed yet to the "gotta turn the TV off" stage, but I'm awful damn close!

I could not move or even look at the TV after Williams' TD. I thought to myself that they would go for two and make it, and of all the many horrible ways the Rams lost a game this season. Was in a deeper funk during the Bears' drive in OT. After Curl's pick I thought if we don't score at least flip the field. When Mevis was getting ready for the FG I realized I was standing in the exact same spot I did in the last second FG to win at Philly. I immediately sat down and the kick was good. Moral: sit down on last second FGs.

... Was really pissed at them. The emotions were running!!!

I’m a healthy guy and this only happens during Rams games but my heart was pounding out of control and hands shaking uncontrollably for the entire OT period after the Caleb throw.

After the Caleb miracle I text my Bears Bro “what kind of Voodoo black Magic is this?”

But my hands were shaking so much it took me several minutes to type it.
