Watched Sunday night game and it still seemed 60/40 Yankee fans

OK. I have been to MANY Dodger games. California fans are simply more laid back than fans from the NE. The Dodgers pack that stadium and have packed that stadium for decades like NO OTHER. I don't give a f u c k about obnoxious Yankee fans. I only know that LA supports the Dodgers like the Yankees only wish NY would do for them. Yankees go down by a couple runs or lose to the Red Sox and their fans blow a gasket.

F U C K the Yankees.

I have DirecTV which doesn't get the Dodger games here in LA. Close to two-thirds of the LA market does not get Dodger games on TV. That's why I can give a rat's ass about the Dodgers. WE didn't even experience the joy of listening to the great Vin Scully his last four seasons before he retired. That's gratitude. Now I cheer for all teams playing against them. Hope they lose in the WS again. And don't tell me to switch to Spectrum. Won't give up my Sunday Ticket as I like to watch Rams divisional opponents so I can cheer for the other teams. The Dodgers can suck eggs.
Personally, I’m glad you’ve moved on.

I don’t get ANY Dodger content where I live and I’m rooting for them despite that travesty.

You're right Yankee fans don't fill the stadium for regular season games. If you watch their home games and it's not a big named opponent there are a lot of empty seats behind home plate. They have a huge following on the road I know in series at Tampa,Baltimore,Toronto and Texas there were a ton of Yankee fans there and you could hear a Let's go Yankees chant throughout the telecast.

Yeah I had one idiot Red Sox fan try to make the comment during the game that he was glad the Dodgers finally sold out a game. The other 10 people joined in telling him how stupid that comment was.

LA fans are often a bigger story for the media than the games themselves. The age old mantras... Yeesh! Poor turn out by home team fans, leaving before the 7th inning, showing up fashionable late, being there to be seen...... Yadda yadda yadda yadda.

I don't aim this at you my friend. But I've been to several games of various sports in LA and then see the camera angles and editorials by "reporters" and thought, "What fucking game were THEY watching?"

It continues with the Rams now in LA. It kinda pisses me off because I have been to games in many cities. It has become a sport of its own to bag on LA and its fans.

Go to Giants games up here, and there are plenty of Dodger fans that show up when they come to town. Go blue!

After losing the first 3 in Phoenix, they managed to squeek out a win with 4 solo homers in the finale today. So a little closer to clinching.

I'm OK with this rut they're digging out of. Good to see how someone reacts after getting hit in the mouth a few times. I'd prefer that over just coasting to the playoffs.

I have LOTS of Braves fan relatives in GA and Bama, and we Doyer fans do NOT need to endure what Braves fans had to stomach in the 90s. But their 12 or so consecutive division titles was impressive.

My concern for Ryu's decline in consistency is now serious. He's throwing more balls, giving up more walks and runs. They say he isn't spent or injured. Whatever. If he keeps on like this, our playoff run is gonna be even more difficult.

Ugh. Not liking this.

Hey guys. As the Dodgers get ready to crush the Giants and celebrate another division title a couple things to watch out for:

I have a couple friends that are pretty excited and proud, as their sons have been called up to the Giants in recent weeks. Pretty wild I’ve know a few guys to play and do well in the big leagues, but this is different.

To have your son, or in one case host family-son make it to the majors is a whole other thing!

First guy- Logan Webb, won’t be pitching this series. His dad and I have known each other since fifth grade, and played ball together a few years. We also both moved from the Bay Area up to Rocklin. Logan is also from our local high school, and is the first from Rocklin High to ever go pro. I’ll be rooting for him, except when he plays my Dodgers.

Secondly, is Mauricio Dubon. A special story. (See below) As he is the first Honduran born and raised to make the majors. (One other guy was born there but came to the states as a baby)

My friend and co-worker Andy and his wife were his host family, and I have been following Mauricio for years since he was a kid. He will be a pretty special player in this league. Great kid too. So happy for him.

Anyway, keep an eye out for these guys.

Go Dodgers!

Dubon looks special. Watched him play this week against the Cardinals. Looks like he will make the team next spring.

Yeah. It was a fluke, him making it up here at all. Andy and a few guys from his church went down to Honduras to donate equipment, and his mom basically came up to them and begged them to take him to the States. Andy called his wife and said, "How do you feel about taking on another son?" She said if God puts it on your heart. Maybe that's why we have the spare bedroom."

Andy also has a son Mo's age, who was a pretty good pitcher, , and the boys basically grew up together and worked out together through high school. But Ben threw his arm out.

It's been a trip as both Mo and Logan were called up within a few days of each other. Logan's dad Erik and I texting each other during his first pitching outing- He beat the Diamondbacks down in Az.

Seeing how excited the families are, etc. I'm sure there will be ups and downs, (Logan got pounded by the Cardinals yesterday, after 3 good outings) but fun to watch, none the less.

 Dang, Mo. lay off my man Kershaw. Save some of that hitting for the Cardinals.

Not a Dodgers post, but Chris Duncan passed away from brain cancer at the age of thirty-eight. I'm absolutely heartbroken right now. To make this somewhat Dodgers-related, here's a video of Vin Scully (at least, I think it's Vin Scully) calling one of Dunc's homers.
