Super Bowl Menu!

I had coworkers ask if I was having a super bowl party or going to one. They laughed so hard when I answered, bluntly, with a NO.

I hate watching games with anyone who isn't as focused as I am and or they are focused but are bringing bad mojo.

Yea I really don't enjoy Rams games with others. Had a bunch of people over for our last superbowl along with doing a Super Bowl squares pool. Didn't win shit and the Rams shit the bed.

Gave in this year to the Wife to have some Cowboys fans over. They are all good folks that will root for the Rams but if they want to be entertained while the game is on it aint happening. And if I am rewinding the game during commercials to figure out what happened, tough shit lol.

Going to my packers supporting friends to watch this. He promises he’s putting on a spread that will include at least 10kg of wings. . And plenty of Guiness to keep us going!

The kitchen smells amazing right now! Certainly a different blend of spices.

Well, we were going to do tri tip with all the fixings. But the vote is in. Everyone wants homemade nachos. The jalapeno cheese sauce with carne asada and guacamole. We're buying a stack of those styrofoam containers the take out places put the food in. That actually sounds good. Makes me want some now.

It's pretty good. We're going to make a chip dip out of it for the super bowl.

I brought some for my coworker to try but she hasn't yet.

No way I'm cooking for this one. I love cooking and do almost all of it at my house... but I won't be able to have my attention on anything else but the game Sunday.

We're leaning towards ordering a bunch of BBQ right now. I'll make sure to get a family sized collard greens for myself if we do go with the BBQ.

I probably won't be able to eat anything till way after the game is over anyway.

I'll be pounding some killer rum though throughout.


@RamFan503 One of my friends was down in Key West over the holidays and went to the Pilar brewery. By a complete stroke of luck... the actual owner and creater happened to be there. My friend told him about me being his biggest customer LOL.

Well... the owner was so moved by whatever my friend told him that he went into the back and brought out this bottle for me. It's a special blend and there were very few of them made. Each bottle is numbered. He even signed it in sharpie to me. The dude's printed signature is on every bottle they sell... but it's cool that he signed to me.

This is a rum blend that tastes like whiskey. It's crazy. I've already fooled 2 different big time whiskey drinkers with it. Here's a pic of the bottle...

6 Layer taco dip
Homemade bacon cheese burger pizza (my wife makes THE BEST complete with ketchup, mustard, pickles… sounds gross until you know how to do it)

Beer and lots of drink options.

I took Monday off... look out.

It’s going to be EPIC, guys! Woo! Go Rams!

Man, I'm happy for you, but as a whiskey drinker, I'm not sure any rum would fool me like that.

How bout sending that bottle out to me for a try. I'll give it back.

6 layer taco dip? That sounds interesting. What's in it? Hope you got a good wing price. If not, damn the torpedo's, it is the SB.. But with your truckers blocking the border routes on trade, we'll be slow at work, so I'm keeping a low budget. God bless those truckers tho.

We will get deli-made. Just as good as my own but lots less to buy; refried beans, salsa, sour creme, guacamole, cheese and I don’t know what #6 is.

Lots of people/places are substituting thighs for the wings when there is a supply problem. There are people claiming that they actually prefer the thighs now over the wings after trying them buffalo style.
