My GF's sister is bringing al pastor for tacos I just heard. I can smell the chips being made! I'm going to gain weight this weekend. LOL
So will the Rams. That trophy looks heavy...

Decided to put a big pot of boiled peanuts on since I couldn't stop pacing the flour this morning. Super Spicy. My recipe is in the Food Porn thread.

Making some jumbo loaded baked potatoes with brisket, bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers, nachos with queso. GF also baked a cake and decorated it like a football so we got dessert.

Ya I don't have a vertical rotissiere so I tried to stand up the meat and pineapple in my oven. It ended up falling over and just not cooking right.
I have a friend that tried the same method. It failed him as well, so I didn't even try.

Slow cooker bbq beef short ribs, spaghetti, salad, and Nacho Cheese Doritos with chunk salsa to snack on. A Modelo 6 pak on the refreshment side.

If you never had slow cooker bbq ribs, give it a try...most tender and the flavor cooks in so good!

I bought one for my dad. All my siblings said he'd never use it. He calls me a couple times a week to ask me about recipes. It's not only been great for him but another excuse for us to get on the phone together.

My mom had an accident a few years ago so he's found himself at 86 learning how to cook for them. It's been a godsend really.
Good for your dad being the stand up man. My sincere best wishes to them and your mom especially. I hope she gets better soon.

I got enough food for an army... I won't be able to eat until sometime in the middle of the night. I right with you Brudda.

Already started drinking though.

Grape Jelly meatballs in another slow cooker.
Need more info on this one.
al Pastor is a favorite of mine, but few places do it well.
But, when done right, it's amazing.
I live about 100 yards from a place that really does it well. Not sure I care to learn that one.
Before grilling the corn tortillas. Dip them in a mixture of chicken broth and hot sauce.
Just a quick dunk.
That's definitely a new one on me. Guess I'll have to try it.
Even have my lucky beer ready
When I had my brewery, we did lots of events with Rogue. We were 7 miles away from them so we got to know them well. Great people.
Already started drinking though.

Yeah, same would happen with me, but I have two taco stalls and a truck within 10 minutes driving distance that all have perfect rotisserie al pastor—dipped tortillas, al pastor and onions and cilantro :woozy2:

Finished making my homemade salsa. Made half a gallon. I'm waiting for all the nacho fixings. I want to finish as close to game time as I can. Once it starts I don't wanna be getting up to do anything or serve myself. Heck, I'd keep a jug for peeing if we didn't have company over.

2 lbs Frozen meatballs.
1 jar of grape jelly
1 bottle of bbq sauce
Couple tsp of chili garlic sauce.
Takes less than a minute to put together.

Takes about 3 hours on the slow setting, but it's an easy snack.

Im not doing much today.
That's definitely a new one on me. Guess I'll have to try it.
It's really good on corn tortillas.
You just can't try to flip them right away. Let them cook for a minute or two, so the tortillas will release from the griddle.

Didn't get this in before game.. Been busy cooking.. lol

Burrito meat. Hamburgers that we broiled in oven and ground up. Put in crockpot with sauce and slow cook.

Cheese dip with some of my burrito meat and salsa in it.

A fiery cheese ball. Cream cheese, Colby Jack shredded, a pack of ranch dressing, and some very good Reaper powder, along with garlic.

Lil Smokies in Crystal sauce, sprinkled with Reaper powder.

Chili. Went with an Italian flavor as I added oregano..

Many mich ulta's, BLP's, and Reyka vodka for shots when we score a TD. Becks to celebrate after our win..

Bobcats have tuna.. lol

My wife and I scrapped together a dip neither of us ate because we were throwing it together during commercial. We certainly didn't put together the steak!

DOESN'T MATTER.
