So at this moment in time, TuTu is "no show" from my seat. I sure have enjoyed the McCutcheon Show.

Unfortunately Bon people hate to admit they are/were wrong, in the same case with Tutu they want to believe they didn’t make the mistake on drafting him so high, so obviously he will be protected from further criticism eventhough it is warranted. Only a matter of time when we find out how Tutu actually pans out. I do feel lots will be disappointed in the outcome, but oh well.

Thats 10… and we had 10 players allocated to those positions last year at cut down.

After these three I think McVay will go with matchups.

We don't have the knowledge of what McVay and Co. are thinking/evaluating the rest. We have some good info from our camp reporters and some McVay comments. It could be based on practice and game performance.

It does seem like a good chance these are the 10 players they keep.

I think Atwell gets some PT based on the info we got plus he has the speed that no other WR can match. He has shown that he knows the playbook much better per McVay. Benny Skow, Harris and McCutcheon are going to be fighting it out for PT as 4th WRs when matchups present themselves. I think Benny Skow gets the nod first but, it could be close. Has proven to know the playbook and be a solid blocker. At this time I'm not concerned about the order. I'm hoping Jefferson gets back soon and is ready to go. The rest will get sorted out soon enough.

lets see, for one college tape. secondly the fact tutu isnt playing in preseason and mccutcheon is seems to imply tutu is performing better in practice also. even a blind man can look at their college tape and see tutu is the better player. just cause he wasnt day 1 nfl ready and didnt produce as a rookie doesnt mean hes still not really talented.

i get it, mccutcheon is making plays and is the guy to cheer for in preseason but his skill set heavily relies on out muscling dudes not burning them with speed or beating them with routes. thats probably the hardest skillset to transition to productivity vs top nfl talent, its very unlikely he just outmuscles actual starters like he is doing vs preseason talent. nothing against mccutcheon and hope the best for him, but theres preseason warriors every year that dont amount to much. Hes still got work to do, imo.

College tape means very little in the league. Atwell got rag dolled last year and even though he might be a little stronger he still isn’t more than 160.

Give me the big dude who is showing he can out muscle smaller defenders, his ceiling is high than Atwell who is nothing more than a gadget player and a bad pick.

I think Tutu's proven he's got good hands and can track the ball well. It's just the size thing that still worries me. (He's only 5'8" and change, and when he was micc'ed up a couple weeks ago, he said he weighed only around 150 pounds!)

Here's hoping Tutu snags a deep ball or two early on and shuts us all up....

Yeah, I've seen reports he's 5'8", or 5'9", and one said 5'8 and 7/8".

From what I've seen, about half of sources say he's 5'8", half the sources say he's 5'9".

And when Tutu was micc'ed up a couple weeks ago, he said he weighed 150 that morning. But Rams have him listed at 165.

But if (when!) he turns into a baller for us, we can throw all the size questions out the window...

I simply pointed out that the Rams kept tutu out of the game. That's not a no show, that's a player who's making the team. I'm sorry if that offends you.

He belongs ahead of Skowronek. McCutcheon finds the ball and goes and gets it. Skow loses the ball and has no idea where it is. I know this is harsh but Skow isn't good enough to be on this roster.

I agree when it comes to his ability to track a ball, which is kinda important for a WR. That said, he was a tone setter on special teams last year, so maybe that's enough to make the roster.

It seems like maybe all these big ass wideouts have given the Rams flexibility with the TE depth. Might be in part why they cut Blanton, well that and Hop taking that two role.

With the amount of 11 we run and Higs as the TE1 role and Blanton as TE2 why not just keep big wideouts thereafter. Taking that a bit further maybe they keep Harris instead of that TE4. Though for the record I do think Harris is done here, think he's squeezed out but McVay probably sees what he might be and that may be enough.

Tutu plays a lot bigger than his size. For someone who's small his ability to go up and make contested catches really stands out. Combine that with his speed and ability to track the ball and I wouldn't worry about him catching long passes, it's been happening all camp and his entire life for that matter. My only concern with him is chemistry with Stafford and ability to sustain big NFL hits and stay healthy.

I guess my question to you is how much have you seen Tutu Atwell? If you were at games in the preseason or training camp I think you’d have a good perspective.

First off Creed was the better pick. No one is going to argue that & a we’re actually upset.

2nd question to you is what did & do you think of Brian Allen? That plays apart. Then 3rd would be who did you other wise ?

What Ingave just from Training camps & what I’ve seen with Tutu Atwell is a nice little WR. He is going to make plays & hard to cover.
-The key is he fits into what Mcvay wants on offense. He is DJ1 that has upside & will continue to get better.
He is that player Mcvay is going to say run deep & just throw the ball up.
Then on those 3 wrs set against zone he can get to the next level which creates separation in the zone. The farther the Free Safety has to play the more space underneath. Just very simple math & logic.

Ben Sko ? He was just a 7th rd pick,so what does anyone want? What I’ve seen is he knows spacing & is an easy target.He is running nice routes & is a willing blocker & a core special teams guy.
We all saw in the SuperBowl & playoffs he struggled at times.He missed to many passes.He had trouble locating the deep ball over head. What I’ll say is he was working with Greg Olsen 1 on 1 after practice. To me it means & says a lot.
The fact Tutu & Sko aren’t playing shows where they are on the depth charts.There should be a lot of reports with the Cinncy scrimmage.
Add Cutch & Harris & what has it cost The Rams in draft capital?

Atwell,Harris & Sko going into there 2nd season needs to pinch themselves. Add a rookie udrfa who is putting in GREAT Game film & I’m sure could be traded for a 2023 7th pick at the least is pretty cool.

-I look forward to watching these young players develop. The Rams have oBJ & Van Jefferson to fall back on,but these players need to step up & take advantage of there opportunity’s.
Depth is key & mismatch’s will be fun when Mcvay has so much now in his tool box.Yarber has been excellent.
We aren’t even talking out Allen Robinson & of course Cooper Kupp.Those to players will only make it easier on them & vis-a- versa .

Tutu Atwell is a solid teammate.He drew BigTime question marks last season when he missed the begin of training camp. When the preseason started he showed a lot & The Rams trusted him last season giving him playing time to start the season.
I felt he made me eat CROW & that told myself I would not doubt him again.
—At training camp he showed good routes & he caught a ball with Wagner there taking a little shot from him. They wrestled around a little showing me he belongs & his teammates like him.
—What I don’t get is anyone that has seen DJ1 & Mcvay should be able to have that kind of a vision.
—That’s me,but during training camp day in & day out there were bombs being thrown deep & Tutu seemed to be the one under the ball & past the defender.
Cutch will be a nice complement with Harris & A.Robinson. Those guys will be tough for defenses to cover up in the Red-Zone.

I have no idea why people ask how is Tutu gonna outmuscle people, get over yourself. That is obviously not a part/strength of his game. It’s speed and route running. Desean Jackson never outmuscled people lol and he was very successful. Everyone wanting Tutu to be a #1 instead of what they drafted him for, to be a dimension in the offense that has been missing that could result in him having a good statistical season but more than likely open things up for other guys, aka our big dogs Kupp and ARob.
