Should we go after Ramsey?

That highlighted portion almost screams either Rams or Pats.

It's probably the Pats as they tend to not really participate much in the first round and stockpile picks, anyway.

That said, it wouldn't surprise me if it was our Rams. We traded a 1st rounder for Cooks and that's totally worked out.

And honestly, I'd gladly trade two bottom of the round 1sts for Ramsey.

Something tells me this isn't over.

We didn't get Cooks on the first try, either...

Or Chiefs and Eagles

After looking at that, and living here in south florida got me thinking.

Let’s say the dolphins do draft Tua, and in 2021 end up with the #1 pick again.

If I was running them I would be inclined to take Lawrence(provided he continues to play and project as a #1 pick) and hold him for a Kings ransom, or force another team to trade up to get him
if they draft Tua, and with all that other draft capital, why would they be drafting #1 overall again? And on the other hand, if the team plays poorly enough after drafting Tua, and they are drafting #1 overall, you could be looking at the Josh Rosen situation all over again

Do we have 2 first round picks to offer?
Sure. We get one free every year until the end of time.

That was my point. We have one. If someone offered 2 first, then it couldn't be us. All of this "It could have been us..." and "That sounds like us..." is ridiculous. We don't have 2 firsts and therefore it could not be us.

I think they mean this year and the next year 1st rounder

Just a scenario, not saying I think they will be picking #1 again. But rookie QBs don’t always have success if they don’t have the right coaching, If Flores doesn’t have a good offensive system (the dolphins are an absolute mess) they could very well be picking in the top 5 in 2021. And if Tua doesn’t show much, can you really put a price on finding your franchise QB?

Should we ? After watching Peters blow that one against Evans, then Evans hot dogging along the one yard line......yes.

We need to start using some of that draft capital on the OL.

Anybody think we could trade peters for our 2nd back?

How about a first and Peters for Jalen?

They'll never get two first rounds for the guy. That is too high an asking price and they know it. I'd pursue him maybe at the end of the season. I doubt neither Talib or Peters return to the rams next year.

Fantasic points, just thinking of a way to get rid of him and it not costing us 2 1sts! lol I wouldn't pay a first for him! haha
