Probably diagnosed with hamstring syndrome by Rams staff. Sent to a specialist in MN to determine root causes and treatment. That part of reporting rings true.

Likely rest for a couple more weeks, a lot of stretching, heat and cold, and reduced playing time until it is comfortable. My guess is we’ll see him in week 3 (rested this week), and when we are eliminated in the playoffs, he’ll opt for surgery to scope and separate (move) the muscle and tendons further away from the sciatic nerve.

I suffer from piriformis syndrome, which impacts a neighboring area and can have similar diagnoses after multiple strains. Remember, Kupp is their investment and they are pot committed.

Kupp: "What can we do to get me out there asap...without it recurring."

If it means sitting the 1st 3 weeks to be available the rest of the way then will have to bite the bullet. I don't foresee a major setback if Stafford can be in rhythm with Higgs, Vann, Nacua, and Tutu. And please get that running game going. We'll see.

Actually could be a blessing in disguise. There are more Ram players to get more experience & playing time against 2 of maybe the best teams in The NFL.
The Rams schedule is tough on paper right now.

If that's the case, he can book the OR right now. The Rams weren't going to the playoffs with him healthy... They sure as shit ain't going if he misses any real time.

This offense was poor last year when Staff and Kupp were healthy. Still not sure why there are those who see this team winning games in shootouts. With what ammo??

I think the expectation is that our OL play will exceed that of the parade of half-blind matadors we were forced to play last year due to injuries.

Plus let's not forget the Rams had a ton of injuries during last year preseason games.

I get that, and I hope to see huge improvement there... Just not sure I can convince myself that it was the sole reason for that mostly putrid offense. I swear we call more WR screens than any team.... Ever. Did I mention I hate WR screens?

let him heal and come back ready, whenever that is. he won't be around much longer if he has hammy issues that keep occurring as he's getting up there in age. we need him in 24. go rams.

You sir have not been drinking your prescribed dosage of Kool-Aid. ;)

I guess if you want a bright side, the odds of winning any of the first 3 games were not good with Kupp. Rest him enough so he can be healthy when the schedule gets easier. If they steal a win in the first three even better.

I would take Nacua off Punt Return Duty. Rams might be leaning on him more with the Kupp's injury, if that's the case, I would take Nacua off punt returns. Williams can return punts & the Rams have a few on the practice squad in Trammel & Smith that can too. Nacua did not have the great history of health in college, so I would take him off punt returns until Kupp is back.

You sir must also be a Dodger fan.
Negative. Although I was as a lad, in the early 80s...Steve Garvey, Ron Cey, Fernando Valenzuela, Sax, Gibson, etc era. Those were fun teams.

However..........Go O's!!!

Welp, Tutu is gonna get his chance...again. He'd better take advantage.
Don’t worry he’ll have 7 catches for 62 yards and people will be calling him the the coming of Tory Holt! :woozy2:

Oh, I remember those days the Braves with Dale Murphy, Dusty Baker, Bruce Sutter, Darrell Evans, Phil Niekro, Bob Horner and Ron Gant. Although, the Braves had some great players they always had trouble beating the Dodger back then. Apparently not true anymore.
