How about now? :)
To be fair, he did post that comment six weeks ago; and Kinchens did struggle when John Johnson went-down.

Kinchens seems like a real talent and those plays yesterday were not only HUGE but a really ... REALLY ... good sign. Also, Kamren Kinchens is the youngest player on the Rams' roster, having just turned 22 last month. Plenty to be excited about.

Egggggsactly -- Kinchens, like most of our new D players & coaches, are still getting settled in.
We're now at the halfway point in the season, and these kids are starting to gel.... this D could be our strongest unit in a while.
But, it's gonna get a real test next week... but that's another thread.

Maybe the Phins trade Hill?

But also, Tua should be worried.

A very young defense that is improving every week. Just might be pretty damn good down the stretch.

I love how the rb doesn't gain another inch after Speights hits him. Didn't gain an inch and is repelled backwards.

Goodbye forever Troy Reeder.

.
ya this is what we saw 48 do in the preseason - he stood a RB straight up.
Omar has my vote!! (for ILB)

Even with the Dline dominating that play, the RB found an opening and was headed thru it and would have made the 1st down. Speights just tracks the running back and fills the hole. Seems simple enough, but how many times have the Rams been there to make a play and the RB squirts thru?

Snead fucking sucks as GM, he always gets swindled and I could better than him. -half of ROD
I don’t say that. But to be fair, the Titans GM just made Snead look like he was on ‘The Apprentice’ when it comes to trades

Conditional 4th or 5th for D'Andre Hopkins.. is that good?
Here's the thing.. I still have issues with the trade, but... timing and need play a role. The reasons the Seahawks were willing to pay that much was because of how patently awful their ILB play was.. and they felt like the move could help make them a playoff team.
In preseason.. there wasn't any team with that clearly defined a need for Jones.
And.. after seeing Rozeboom and Speights perform last week.. I can't say having Jones would've made a difference.

That’s the problem with the ‘get rid of him now!’ Scenario. This was poorly handled.

But it wasn’t the first time Snead got such poor return for a useful player.

I disagree with that last part though. We’ve had 8 games of mostly Rozeboom and Reeder. If, after a talking to, Ernest doesn’t come around, at least he would have been starting over Troy and if the problems persisted they trade him at the deadline when teams have needs due to injury. By then Speights is ready.

But if there were locker room issues that the coaches felt superseded that need.. and I'm not in the locker room.. but if they had issues? Fine to move on.
Again.. defense going in right direction.
If this season ends with them in the playoffs.. I REALLY won't care.. even a little.

Well no shit. If they traded Matt Stafford at the deadline, we’d all freak out. But if Stetson Bennett lead the team to the Super Bowl, nobody would care either. That’s called hindsight. We are talking about getting rid of their best linebacker and how it affected the team to this point.
