I saw the recent article. Sean regrets trading Jared Goff.

Wanna see how easy "interpretation" is?

Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't.

And Whitworth's comments were about what lead up to the trade. Feel free to go back and look at how many practices he didn't take part in.
Did you see what Jones said? They told him not to practice even though his knee was okay. He wanted to practice.

QB - 4 Assuming Stafford is back.
RB - 3
WR - 9 Provided they find a dynamic playmaker for the X position. Zero need if it's more of the same type they have.
OL - Are we retaining AJ? If so, 4. If not, 10.
TE - 6
CB - 9
OLB - 2
DT - 2
ILB - 5
S - 5

I don’t feel OL is the biggest need. I feel that O-Line health is the biggest part of the shortcomings.

That and playing Jonah over Limmer
OL is a need if you consider they have to spend money or draft capital on LT whether it's paying Jackson or finding someone else.

I also want a big play WR to pair with Nacua considering Kupp may only have a year or two left at best and certainly both of their injury histories are an issue.

I like the Warren kid from PSU for TE. Right now he is considered a high 2nd rounder. So maybe that's a guy you can get with a trade down or trade up. I would prefer more picks, to fill those holes at CB, WR, TE, and maybe a QB prospect that can sit a few years.

OT is a very big need IMO and it escalates depending on what happens with Alaric.

I feel it’s only a need if Jackson walks.

He’s not Pace, but he’s not easily replaceable either. If he’s gone, I’d rethink my position on the matter

Big Rob won't be around for ever he's only signed thru next year. And at 32 he has had an injury this year big guys like that generally start to get more and more. Add to that the only other tackle signed for next year is McClendon and he hasn't been much better than Boom if he's been better at all. We absolutely need an OT even if it isn't a starter we need a backup or two.

Third round pick makes sense here.

He looks like he could be another Kelce or Andrews. Of course it's hard to predict but he along with those two RBs seems to be the engine of that PSU offense. I like Allar too. He's tough. He can read defenses. He's got a strong arm and he's somewhat mobile.

Kinda breathtaking what they’ve done the last 2 drafts.. plus UDFA.

Really liking what we’re seeing out of Tyler Davis right now.

I can’t even imagine what next year will be like if they get another draft close to these last two.

Just wrapping up the regular season on this...

Verse is DPOY... Fiske could be... Kinchens just got better every game and is a starter-level player.... Corum looks like he'll contribute.. Brennan Jackson looks like he might be able to provide depth.. Whittington is a players.. at worst, a #4 receiver and ST ace.. Tyler Davis is already a solid rotational DT... Karty looks like a stud kicker in development.. amazing day.. Beaux Limmer hasn't graded out great.. but the line has reformed well with him in there. I think he's growing and looks like he'll be a mainstay for years.

All healthy draft picks for 2024 played today. That's amazing.

Add to that excellent UDFA Omar Speights... and Jaylen McCullough, who has been decent and come up with several INTs... just an amazing year of bringing in talent.

If this next draft is anywhere close... this team will be a force next year.

The Athletic's Dane Brugler has 5 Rams mentioned in his "All Rookie" team..

-Verse & Fiske made first team
-Kinchens and Speights made the second team or honorable mention
-Josh Karty got a mention

And Karty was just named NFC Special Teams player of the month.

.

Just like the Linnahan 06 and 07 drafts set up the Rams to have the worst decade of nfl football as not one player deserved to be in the nfl, these last two drafts by Snead and McVay have set up the Rams to be a dominant team for a decade if Mcvay stays put.
