Sean McVay showed everyone how to beat a Bill Belichick defense

As others point out, the Cheat's strategy isn't so much about challenging Goff to beat them, rather, the Cheats are going to try to get Goff to beat the Rams -- which, unfortunately, has happened this season.

I'm all for going the ground and pound route here. This year has seen McVay broaden the offense - he's gone empty and 4 wide more often (I think), and he recently showed the short game. Let's see if McVay has the ground and pound game here. If Kromer is the genius that some around here think he is, let's see it, this week.

The Cheats aren't at their best when they can't get video ahead of time to prepare. That's how Wade's playoff defenses worked against them. That's how the Wildcat exploded. I think it helped Foles and the RPO.

Tweak the run plays and ground and pound all game long. There can't be much tape of a ground and pound McVay offense.

As an aside, anyone remember when Nagy unleashed that super heavy package on offense against the Rams?
A play or two with both A'Shawn and Brockers as lead blockers could be fun against the Cheats.

Aside2: That first quarter pass to Everett with Woods just lingering off his outside shoulder after the catch sort of felt like the setup for an option play.

Listening to WEEI ( sports radio in these parts) and they were talking about how Mcvay got out coached in the superbowl by Bellyfat and he must have circled this game when the schedule came out because it's a revenge game for him.

Let's hope he did and is mad as hell
Yeah.
I hope McVays love and admiration for The Cheat, dont hinder our chances.

McVay has been playing the clock ownership game all year. Continue that trend and play good defense and they have a long ✈️ home with a loss.

Oh...and protect that damn ball.

The Cheats will put all their defense on the outsides, and make us beat them down the seam, or up the middle.

That's not what they did in the Superbowl. They brought six on the line and destroyed the cutbacks and outside zone runs. Then the DBs stayed between the hashes and took the intermediate crosses away.

I think quick outs, and screens could work. Pound the edges with the pass and the middle with the run. The opposite of what McVay likes to do.

Cooper Kupp

was missing last time

Cooks is this time.

Last time these 2 met, the Rams held them to 13 points, with Brady at QB, Gronk making huge catch and the Rams D not playing anywhere near this level.
Now they've got little QB production, no running game and their D isnt as good as years past.
If anyone needs to be worried about this game its the Pats
I think the Rams are going to embarrass them on National TV

Man I hope you are right. It would be a thing of beauty.

Someone tell me.... I have a feeling what we did effectively against Tampa Bay and the Cardinals - that there is no way the Hoodie is going to let us do this...

Throw deep a lot? Go wildcat? I'm being a bit sarcastic but what do we do to get an edge?
Find out what he is giving you and take it.

Have Belicheat attend a Randy Moss costume party this Wednesday and hope he gets completely plastered and wakes up too hung over on Thursday to coach.

Or force Cam Newton to try and beat you with the passing game. I don't think the Pats have any receivers worth mentioning so it really needs to be a collective effort to stop the run - Cam running included.

Im worried about this game, especially ST play. Hoodie ran a clinic last week against the Chargers.

dont get me wrong, I am a bit nervous about the rams ST also, but the Chargers ST unit is the worst in football...as a matter of fact, it's rated the worst in football in like the last 20 years or something like that.

They had major fuck-ups during that game..I think 12 men for 5 plays, and 10 men for 2 punts I think. Just a total disaster

Pats have badass ST’s and that’s almost it. There will be something from their D that will grind things down.

Cam’s offense is a 17 point offense.

Rams play clean, no unforced errors that lead to scores; 18 points will win it for them.

The Rams D won’t give them shit...

Something like 24-10 Rams

I don't have a bunch of fancy stats and gut feeling details, trends or analysis of why.

I believe the Rams win this game 24-13

No rhyme or reason...............
