Yeah, I think I'm gonna vomit.

Seems pretty s straight forward, and a McVay trend of not closing out games.

Seattle Coaching Staff kept their team in the game and focused when the fans and the players seemed to be giving up on themselves.

Rams coaching staff with 10 minutes to go were thinking who they were going to be giving game balls to.

What it looks like is McVay is soft and lacks a killer instinct and doesn't trust his players with a two score lead.... I just don't know....... I would like to not believe the 4th quarter game plan was to punt four times, especially with a subpar ST and a defense that hasn't looked good since Lake has been injured.

I wonder what was going through Sneads and Kronke's mind watching a total 4th quarter collapse.

Long time lurker here.

Does anyone know why, with secondary being a huge weakness last year, we didn't draft a single defensive back or sign one? Why isn't McCreary playing? He can't be worse than the trash that's out there now.

Unfortunately, this isn't a SB winning team with the secondary we have. It's below average and masked by the front four. It's not going to work against above average/elite QBs. Young, Jones, Goof all looked like top 3 QBs against our secondary. I think we win a wild card game but definitely going to get bounced out. We can't hold on to leads because the secondary gives up quick TDs when we are up (ie. Eagles, 9ers, last night's game). Forbes is hot garbage and needs to be benched. He either gets burnt, misses a coverage, or causes a penalty.

Trying to look at the bright side of things this morning. The Rams went into supposedly one of the toughest venues to play against one of the toughest defenses in the league and put up nearly 600 yards without Adams. Nobody is stopping this offense. They've had greater than 500 yards the last three games and averaged around 40 points. Seattle won because some shitty calls by the refs, one I've never seen in 55 years of watching football. The whistle had clearly blown on the 2-point conversion. And everyone seems to forget the TD they took away in the first half because of the illegal man downfield BS. True, our defense needs to shore up but after taking the Eagles to the wire in a snowstorm and losing this game by a fluke, I'll take this Stafford led crew anywhere, anytime.

I hate being a sore loser but there were at least 2 bkocks in the back on that punt return, probably three. But defense really let us down on those last two scores.
There were 2 on the big run that set up the refs giving them a bullshit 2 at conversion. Then add the bogus illegal downfall and the refs gave them 12 points.

Puka was right and its fucked up that he's the only one with the balls to say something.

I predicted 31 was the magic number. And in regulation that would have won it. Lost opportunities with the bs flag on the TD, missed FG, poor TE play, stagnant red zone play, run game limited when Dotson went out.
I want to understand better what happened on the “lateral” 2-pt play. I know you always play to the whistle so I’m focused on the whistle.

I agree those were total BS calls.... But nothing compared to the ugliness of the Rams offense the last 10 minutes of the 4th quarter.... The Rams offense looked liked the Cardinals offense...... So Jekyll and Hyde.

The Rams put a lump of coal in our stockings for Christmas. Very disappointing.

Lost in the venting is that, yet again, Blake Corum gets a very catchable pass that would have given the Rams a positive play to pick up hands, and not only does he not make the catch, stopping the clock for the opposition and draining the drive's momentum... he pops the ball softly into the air with it just begging to picked. Thank God Ernest Hones couldn't come up with it, but boy was it close.

I love Corum with the ball in his hands. I actually think he is the better runner than Kyren.

Yet, I continue to be scared he is not a viable NFL RB due to his absolute brick hands, as I commented last week, and also earlier in the year. The Philip Lindsay story. If you literally cannot be trusted to catch, then in today's NFL, you're doomed as a RB, unless you are an absolutely elite running. And that is not Blake Corum. Though he is quite good.

I continue to maintain we need to work Hunter in. See what he's got. Too late in the year for him to play a big role in this season, but let's get him some looks, as the future of this RB room is still very much uncertain to me.

Corum's drop had 0 to do with the game outcome. I am just flagging it as another concern for the team.

Its a VENT thread, so here I go

Rams turn the Seahawks over 4 times, they luckily escape with a 2 point win
Rams turn the Seahawks over 3 times, they lose by 1
Going up 29-14 the play has to be going for 2
After picking off Darnold, 9 min to go and a 16 point lead, the Rams with 3 consecutive 3 and outs
Pressuring Darnold causes turnovers and embarrassing QB play, no pressure and he's Joe Montana. So what does Shula call for? Yup, just rush 3-4, what's the worst thing that could happen?
I am absolutely certain the whistle blew on the 2 point try
How special teams can be ignored year after year is a McVay mystery I just cant figure out
Al Michaels "Rams kicker hasnt missed a kick all year", over and over, you knew he was gonna miss
I'm going to try and get back to positive thoughts but this one really stings. They virtually clinched the division and 1 seed and could have played the last 2 games with extreme caution. Now they need a lot of help

All great points:

But the thing I don't get knowing we have a very questionable ST group, we just sit on the ball on offense for the final 9 minutes???? And all the offense could do is allow four punts and a missed field goal by or questionable ST's????

Is it too much to ask and try and score every time we get the ball.... It looked like our offense had no intention of trying to score in the 4th quarter. ..... I dunno

it was Ferguson I believe. we were on the 1/2 yd line and they called our RG I think for bleeding downfield. The rules official even said it shouldn't have been a penalty. TD off the board and settled for a FG.

here it is.....

This was the worst call of the season. How can you be downfield when you line up inside of the one, and you're spun around while blocking?
This and the so called lateral call made AFTER the whistle, and just before the following kick off?
Gotta call out coaching too, though, for letting up offensively, and that worthless "prevent the win" defense early in the 4th.
ST's were also huge with this otherwise pretty solid effort.
It's usually a W when you have the Seattle crowd either quiet or acting like Philly fan, and you win the TO battle 3-0.
We let one get away here......... but next, it's on to the Falcons.

These are the tough hard-fought games you have to have entering the playoffs, if you just cruse into the playoffs you are liable to get punched right in the mouth. This team is battle tested and will respond appropriately IMO. It is the law I have always lived by, "How are you going to respond when someone walks up and punches you in the mouth". I believe in this team and their coaches will make the necessary adjustments; I do think however special teams' issues need to be addressed.
