Very sadly, I don't think it is a coincidence that he and Kyren are both better with Havenstein on IR. It just might be time for the big fellow to consider riding off into the sunset ...
Havenstein isn't going to be back next year, as he is not under contract.

Also, McClendon looks good enough in the small sample size that we might be okay at RT going forward.

Love to see it. I've been a Corum booster all along. Better RB than Williams, IMO, until Williams can fix the fumble issues. Jury is still out on that one. Corum has more burst and can score from distance + break off a game changing carry if he doesn't score. In 1 season he has more long runs than Williams' entire career, I suspect, and I am not joking. Williams has more wiggle and better cuts in the backfield when met immediately, and is a better receiver too, but all that is not enough of an edge to make up for his ball security. He has been clean with the football lately, but his fumbles always come at the worst, most back breaking times, so let's see what this stretch runs and playoffs have in store. Again, the jury is out. I do like both RBs. But only 1 do I like at their contract price.

Corum's hands do scare me. Still untested as a receiver. We need to see it. So far, beyond brick hands. If you can't catch, you can't play. See: Philip Lindsay, who started strong too.

Since this is the Corum thread, it must be asked, is Corum starting to surpass KW? It seems like the team has embraced a near 50/50 split.

in my opinion, if he could pick up blitzes he should be #1...

i've always thought he was a better RB than KW..

davonte, puka, ferguson, kw, corum, and of coarse staff,,,

it's a bitch having all this treasure....

I’m guessing a lot of people will look at a game like today and suggest KW should not be ceding this many snaps to Corum but I think this was more of an anomaly. Corum plays were blown up by good defense and some mixed blocks. I’d keep up the split myself - although KW may get more of a nod on goal line work.
I think Corum's speed wasn't really showing on the field early on, and when you couple that with how good KW is at maximizing yards available on a given run it kept him from challenging him. Now he's running with authority and his speed is elevating him in that dynamic.

When we face a team where holes are there a little more consistently, Corum is going to kill them. But the tougher teams to run on I'd imagine KW gets more usage. But Corum's tough too so bottom line we have two legit starter level backs.

Agreed, but I also don’t think Corum is a breakaway speed back either.

we have a great tandem, for sure.

I’d still draft Love
Corum isn't a speed back by definition because his value as a runner lies in his vision and balance but I would argue he does have breakaway speed ability once he gets into the open field.

I know KW is supposed to be faster but Corum looks faster.
Hes also Techinally Fresh too. KWill has what 1200 Carries or something in 3 years? KW speed is coming back with less carries and I think that is Seans plan. Keep KW healthy and AVGS for both are coming up! KW is going to rip one to the house too soon.
