True words brother but it’s easy to rag on McVay rather than the execution and accepting Seattle’s D came to life, for three series, when we had been handing them their lunch all game long up to thenTHAT was the time to ice the game. A couple of 1rst downs there and that game was over.
Nope.
3 and out, give up a punt return TD.
It can go either way though and has also produced a fair amount of wins. They are aware of the percentages but that only works when something out of the ordinary doesn’t happen. It did! More than once! Partly down to poor officiating! But also because Seattle kept rolling the dice, and coming out way head of the statistical likelihood. Three 2 point conversions! Give me a break! It happens and that is not on “the house” or McVay. It felt like a black swan event to me. Seattle rode their luck and won but are unlikely to ever get that lucky in terms of the percentages when it matters during the playoffsAfter all this time he still hasn't learned. Does the same old fucking shit.
Fucked if I see another team in the league with less "deficiencies" than ours.Said this before: this isn’t a Super Bowl winning team. The deficiencies are too glaring.
So why are you here ?
How about the bullshit call that wiped out our touchdown in the first quarter?!
I’ve said it before but the league loves parity and it’s often these fucking officials who provide it. Every loss has had something to do with poor officiating and even some of our wins have been made closer
You blow a play dead, it’s dead, there is nothing else to say in terms of the bullshit two point conversion
Special teams, though improved, is our Achilles. Let’s hope we got that loss out of the way prior to the playoffs because it was always going to bite at some point
I would have worried about Atlanta if we had beaten Seattle.Come on man.
The Cardinals and Atlanta are going to get their heads stomped in.
So, you saying we could play 2 more games this year in Santa Clara??I hate to break it to you guys but SF will have the 1 seed. No doubt in my mind.
My only hope is this galvanizes us and we carry some momentum into the playoffs.
just a real shame to once again be playing on the road.
P.S. I hope my prediction ages horrifically.
it was Ferguson I believe. we were on the 1/2 yd line and they called our RG I think for bleeding downfield. The rules official even said it shouldn't have been a penalty. TD off the board and settled for a FG.
here it is.....

Gotta be a huge Bears, Panthers and Indy fans over the coming weeks. Worst case, we end up with a lower seeding then we will just have to go play in the cold. We are more than capable.
I don't disagree with you one bit. That being said, I'm still pulling for some help from other teams.I’m not interested in what happens to other teams. Rams had their chance to stake their claim as the#1 NFC team. But McVay and Shula thought the game was over at the beginning of the 4th. Nah, you reap what you sow. If they have to play in Green Bay , Chicago, San Francisco or Philadelphia then that’s what they deserve for not getting it done when they had their chance. What a let down.
