THAT was the time to ice the game. A couple of 1rst downs there and that game was over.
Nope.
3 and out, give up a punt return TD.
True words brother but it’s easy to rag on McVay rather than the execution and accepting Seattle’s D came to life, for three series, when we had been handing them their lunch all game long up to then

How about the bullshit call that wiped out our touchdown in the first quarter?!

I’ve said it before but the league loves parity and it’s often these fucking officials who provide it. Every loss has had something to do with poor officiating and even some of our wins have been made closer

You blow a play dead, it’s dead, there is nothing else to say in terms of the bullshit two point conversion

Special teams, though improved, is our Achilles. Let’s hope we got that loss out of the way prior to the playoffs because it was always going to bite at some point

After all this time he still hasn't learned. Does the same old fucking shit.
It can go either way though and has also produced a fair amount of wins. They are aware of the percentages but that only works when something out of the ordinary doesn’t happen. It did! More than once! Partly down to poor officiating! But also because Seattle kept rolling the dice, and coming out way head of the statistical likelihood. Three 2 point conversions! Give me a break! It happens and that is not on “the house” or McVay. It felt like a black swan event to me. Seattle rode their luck and won but are unlikely to ever get that lucky in terms of the percentages when it matters during the playoffs

1. fire blackburn.

2. The 2021 team had donald in game breaking form, Ramsey who could match up with any elite WR, Peak Matt Gay who was automatic and Brandon Powell who was a reliable PR specialist. Our defense and special teams have never recovered from their departure and this season has been a stark reminder of that.

Puka is right. The refs are shit. And they’re getting worse.

For you Dodgers fans out there, this reminds me of the Yamamoto almost no hitter game in Baltimore. Crushing loss.

Team went on to win a historic World Series Championship.

Enjoy the ride, we good.

Loved the pressers by McVay and Matthew, total class as always. So grateful to have them both leading this team. As far as the game and dubious calls, it's tough to process for sure. The illegal lineman downfield was a bad call and the rules official on the broadcast even acknowledged that. That was 4 points lost. The 2 point conversion with a whistle blown doesn't make sense to me. I always thought If the whistle is blown the play is over.

Puka doubling down with his tweet after the game is gonna cost him some $$ for sure I imagine. Hopefully he'll learn to self filter a bit.

Gotta be a huge Bears, Panthers and Indy fans over the coming weeks. Worst case, we end up with a lower seeding then we will just have to go play in the cold. We are more than capable.

I was sleeping and missed this. It’s disappointing but I’ve seen enough not to be too worried. If we play these fuckers again I think we’ll do them. By the way, who had a TD wiped out first illegal man downfield? I didn’t see that play in the highlights I watched.

I hate to break it to you guys but SF will have the 1 seed. No doubt in my mind.

My only hope is this galvanizes us and we carry some momentum into the playoffs.

just a real shame to once again be playing on the road.

P.S. I hope my prediction ages horrifically.
So, you saying we could play 2 more games this year in Santa Clara?? :wow2:

I’m not interested in what happens to other teams. Rams had their chance to stake their claim as the#1 NFC team. But McVay and Shula thought the game was over at the beginning of the 4th. Nah, you reap what you sow. If they have to play in Green Bay , Chicago, San Francisco or Philadelphia then that’s what they deserve for not getting it done when they had their chance. What a let down.

Seems pretty s straight forward, and a McVay trend of not closing out games.

Seattle Coaching Staff kept their team in the game and focused when the fans and the players seemed to be giving up on themselves.

Rams coaching staff with 10 minutes to go were thinking who they were going to be giving game balls to.

What it looks like is McVay is soft and lacks a killer instinct and doesn't trust his players with a two score lead.... I just don't know....... I would like to not believe the 4th quarter game plan was to punt four times, especially with a subpar ST and a defense that hasn't looked good since Lake has been injured.

I wonder what was going through Sneads and Kronke's mind watching a total 4th quarter collapse.

I don't disagree with you one bit. That being said, I'm still pulling for some help from other teams.
