Absolutely. Because I'm looking at guys like Myers or maybe Drake in round 3 and thinking not only do they probably not help us right away but they also keep us from taking some other positions that are well repped in that neighborhood.

Not sure what Gruden would want for him though. Probably comes down to whether they want us to eat salary which the Rams obviously wouldn't.

That timing has to be tough for them, if they actually have to do it by 4pm today. Hopefully it makes them accept a sixth from us ...

Having said that, I can't believe that should have an impact on them - they were actually increasing their salary by releasing him, so there shouldn't be an urgency on their part. Maybe it benefits the other team more if they can do it by then?
