I know that nothing was explicitly stated, but after OBJ's latest "woe is me" twitter post, I'm leaning towards just rolling with what we have, holding onto Woods, and taking the wait and see approach with Beckham.

Last season proved WR is probably the second most important position on this team and that it's just not possible to have too much depth at the position.

If we can make it work $… I am with you.

I think @Ranma probably grabbed the right tweet. Rams got calls, but not exactly shopping Woods.

Then again… this is the Rams and the NFL.

Who says Stafford didn't gel with Woods?? Talking heads? Yeah Woods did voice that he wanted to be thrown to more but it's not like Stafford can't gel with anyone especially an all around team player like Woods. He just saw how smart like a QB Kupp was and discussed more Xs and Os with him.

Would like to keep Woods... but I get if if the Rams trade him for a positional need.

The fact that Les Snead hasn't said, "Kick rocks" worries me... but I'll keep the faith.

Not saying Rams are shopping him, but these "people are calling" thing is usually
sent out by the team shopping him. again not saying Rams are shopping him.

I don't think they really put anything explicit out there, but when the news of Allen Robinson broke that had to send a message, intentional or otherwise, that there was a chance that Woods would become available. If you were another team's GM with a need at WR and you saw that the Rams already had Kupp and Robinson and potentially Woods and OBJ, you'd be crazy not to at least inquire.

46 m a year for desaun watson(spelling)...

cleveland just scored... it's a five year deal all guaranteed...

didn't aaron rodgers just sign for 50 m?

go rams

So where’s the list of #3 wr’s?
Thought so
Go search and tell me what you come up with, I know you're still bitter from 2 seasons ago when I made you look foolish when mid season you said Brady couldn't throw the deep ball and I argued he could and then what do you know in the Packers- Buccaneers Championship game they said wait for it, wait for it Brady led the league in deep passes

So you can’t back up your claim huh?
Got it.

Without a doubt.

And as smart as the Rams are I think they overlooked the full extent of what they'd need to do around Stafford to get his full value. The drafting of Tutu demonstrates that. If they were thinking about Stafford having good contested catch options they would not have drafted Tutu.

Also the Rams bet on Jefferson based on his Senior Bowl performance and gave him every opportunity to step up. He's just lacking a bit in the dog department. So going forward I think we will see an adjustment made in their evaluations of young wideouts. Rams are really good at adjusting and staying fluid and making the most of things. The next few passing game targets they draft I am certain will be competitive for the ball.
Yeah, they were hung up on his precision route running with Jefferson, and with Atwell they were trying to get the speed guy like they had in Cooks.

I still think Atwell could have a roll in the offense... Even if just initially a small roll as an occasional deep threat & a jet sweep here or there.

We certainly need the speed factor for the route runners and possession guys to be most effective, In 2020 our offensive was off and the lack of outside speed was part of it, VJ &Reynolds with Kupp & Woods wasn't enough. Maybe TuTu and the development of VJ's ability to run deep routes along with M.S @QB is enough. I believe we still value above average outside speed and right now that is TuTu which is a bit scary

I'd be fine with that.

Well, while we are all here shitting our pants over what might occur, I will say this. Sneed‘s not trading woods unless it makes our team better. And I trust Snead.

I love woods. For all the reasons everyone has stated. But I trust need to make the right decision for our Rams.
I don't wear pants....I like my freedom!

Maybe Atwell can be the Desean Jackson type? But I would like to see OBJ, Woods, Kupp and Robinson and Jefferson as the backup. Atwell can be traded for a draft pick. Powell is a good return man and he's also a receiver.
