His movement is terrible if he's not running at the line of scrimmage. If he plays on 1st and 2nd down he will continue to be targeted in the pass game, which he has been already. He looks lost and is a full liability in coverage. That's not a good starting ILB in the NFL. That makes him a good run stuffing backup, that's about it. Hilarious to me that people want him to start over Kenny Young. Go watch film on Young, he looks like a beast and played well in the preseason. Much better athlete and better instincts. We requested him specifically to be in the MP trade with Baltimore. I'd say Reeder has another 2 weeks max until he goes back to the riding the pine pony. Coming in mid-season can't be easy for a player, it will take him a few weeks. Unless you're Ramsey lol

The obvious question is why did Young get benched.

Probably a similar reason Blythe keeps starting even when backups offer better options. I think Snead did his due diligence and figured it had more to do with a coaching decision.
