Like the Garcia photo. I was raised in Marin but didn't see the Dead until one heck of a time at Madison Square Garden in the late 80s. I always laughed at the clown car like number of roady fans that would drive a 1000 miles together to a Dead show and then ditch their friends and stumble around the stadium holding 1 finger for a ticket.

You and I have a sort of similar history. Moved from Germany to San Diego as a boy, then lived in San Jose for 30 years. Then moved to western Maryland and have lived here for 20 years. Always have been a Rams fanatic no matter where I live or where they play. Welcome to you and all the new members.

If I moved back to CA it would be San Diego or somewhere near Tahoe. You couldn't pay me to live in LA or SF. Was channel surfing the other night and had to flip back when I saw Steve Spagnuolo's face. He was being spot lighted on a Ravens Camp report. Spags is now the Secondary Coach - wow how the mighty have fallen. He's brought Darian Stewart in on a contract. Looks like I won't be picking the Ravens Defense in FF this year.

We lived in El Cajon, La Mesa, and San Diego. My wife spent much of her youth in Carlsbad. My son and his wife recently moved to N. Hollywood real near my younger brother. I have a feeling I'll be moving back to San Jose within the next few years due to family stuff.

Spags was a miserable failure as a head coach. Some position coaches don't do well when they're promoted for one reason or another. He should do alright doing what he does best - focused on coaching a small amount of players instead of being the big cheese.

Good morning fellow Ram fans. Switched over from STL Today but was never a big poster, too many idiots there. I'm 51, retired military and been a Rams fan since the first game I saw on TV in 1970. Look forward to some actual football conversation with all of you. I also am a forever optimist and will watch every game on my Sunday ticket. Til death do us part, from worst to first in '14!

I live in Connecticut, so I've seen the Rams in New England and New York, even went to a game against the Dolphins in Miami, but I've never been to a Rams home game. Coming to St. Louis for the game against the Vikings on Sept. 7. What's the best hotel near the stadium? Places to eat? Other stuff to do? Will I need to rent a car or are there shuttles from the airport to the hotels and back? Any info would be appreciated, thanks. See you at the game!!! Go Rams!!!

Hey all. My name is Matt and I've been reading other sites for quite a long time now. ROD is apparently the place to be with the respect that I have for so many of the posters here (as well as musical tastes).

I was born and raised in STL and my first game was the Vikings game in '98. Heartbreaking to say the least, but I was hooked. Fell in love with scouting and the whole draft process then too since my pops was always scouting as his favorite hobby.

My second game was next year against the Chargers in the preseason. The tension and anxiety in the dome at the moment Trent green went down was by far the strangest feeling up to that point in my young, sports obsessed life. Still gives me chills.

I'm ready to stop watching highlights of players, re-re-re-reading many draft books and articles and watch our beloved Rams thrash people this year...

...and to the rest of the NFL...you've been warned.

I've played semi-pro football for 16 years and coached football on many different levels (all below division 2) ....as a position...coordinator. ..and head coach.... I love football.... but I love the Rams more... lol I love reading your posts.... I love being exposed to different opinions and interpretations..... maybe exposing me to ideas that I hadn't had before. ... especially all the camp coverage that I don't get to see... thank you...I look forward to talking with you all.

I have difficulties understanding most of the new acronyms but I have no problem understanding the meaning of MF! Love your attitude and that clever ruse of pretending your name is Matt is brilliant! :notworthy: You're gonna have no problem fitting in with this community.

I work from home doing computer software stuff. It's not as impressive as it sounds but it pays the bills.
