Hi all!

Just wanted to finally introduce myself.

I’ve been a fan since the ’80s. I grew up in Orange County, and my dad had season tickets back when the team was in Anaheim. We moved to Kansas City in 1990 (still here), but I remained a fan through all the St. Louis years and, of course, the move back.

These days, we gather as a family every week to watch our boys in blue and gold. I’ve even managed to turn two of my three daughters into rabid fans. My oldest is almost obnoxiously so...lol. I blame myself for that one...so does my wife.

I’ve been a casual sideline observer on this forum for a LONG time. I’ve used it to find some really insightful information from you all over the years, but maybe more importantly, as a coping mechanism to reassure myself that I’m not the only one out here feeling a certain way about this team. Figured I would jump in and post every once in awhile.

I’m not really into fighting or talking smack with anyone here, so you won’t see me participating in much of that or putting anyone's thoughts or opinions down. But definitely looking forward to some good football discussion with fellow Ram fans.

I’m actually taking my 79-year-old father and my two daughters to the Denver game at the end of September. I have two simple prayers for that trip:
  1. That my oldest daughter’s mouth doesn’t get me into a fight in Denver.
  2. That this team puts on a better performance than they did down under.
I can handle losing. What I struggle with is a lack of effort, and that’s what crushed me Thursday night. That one broke my heart.

Here’s to a MUCH better performance on Monday Night...and to whoever those “sleep scientists” were that McVay listened to being FIRED by tomorrow morning.

Go Rams

Sounds like you have excellent parenting skills. Tell your wife that she should be envious of them. LOL

Many years ago I was forced to live in Fort Leavenworth KS for 9 months. As you know, just right across the river from you. We'd drive over to KC looking for action... I was 15 and could legally drive in KS... but Missouri's driving age was 16. I still drove over all the time until I got nabbed one night. Played tennis at an indoor club in KC... I think it was called Brandywine or something like that. Went to many Royals games. I reluctantly attended a chiefs game too. Nothing else to do except blaze some mayjah ganja otherwise. Way too cold for the human species I belong to... it almost killed me.

Otherwise... sounds like it's about damn time you finally jumped in. And just so you know, we don't allow members to trash each other's opinions... so you have nothing to worry about. Just keep on the lookout for a weirdo who goes by the stage name here of @RamFan503 That dude ain't right.

Hi everyone! I’m a Rams fan from South Korea.

I happened to watch a Super Bowl game when I was in high school, and that’s when I fell in love with football. I became a Rams fan in 2017, so I’ve been following this team since the McVay, Goff, and Todd Gurley era.

These days, I watch the games from Korea with my two sons, who proudly wear their Puka Nacua and Aaron Donald jerseys. It’s been an incredible journey watching this team over the years.

Hopefully, someday I’ll get the chance to watch the Rams play in person at SoFi Stadium.

Go Rams!

Hello -- I just joined.

I'm from New York and live in North Carolina. Although I grew up in a Giants culture, I have been a Rams fan from childhood. I think I must have liked the uniforms and, being raised as a good Catholic boy, I think the name Roman Gabriel resonated.

So that's the team I began with: Roman Gabriel throwing to Jack Snow and handing off to Les Josephson. My first front four included Coy Bacon and Lamar Lundy and the fabulous left side of Merlin Olsen and, my idol, Deacon Jones (see avatar). A couple of years later, Jack Youngblood would add another HOFer to the defensive line.

Rams won their share of division titles back then, but didn't go deep in the playoffs. Finally, Vince Ferragamo got them to the big game, and it looked so promising for about three quarters, but Bradshaw and the Steelers pulled it out. I was so disappointed. Eric Dickerson's wonderful career began just a few years later.

Of course, I absolutely loved the Greatest Show on Turf, and it was exactly that.

Now I bask in the glow of our current, marvelous team and can't wait for both Donald and Garrett to play in the same games together and for the tight ends and everyone else to be whole. Glad Puka is on the field again. Adams was amazing against the Giants.

But, hey, why am I talking about Rams history to a bunch of Rams fans? Suffice it to say I'm glad to be here among you.

I am also an avid Yankees fan (we won't go there) and, while I don't follow the NBA, I grew up with the champion Knicks of Willis Reed, Walt Frasier, et al, so I loved watching the 2025 championship by Jalen Brunson and the gang. It was the team's first since the Knicks of my youth. The era of Patrick Ewing was squandered, as the Yankees are doing with Aaron Judge (but we won't go there) -- they need a McVay in their dugout.

Concurrent with the Knicks win, I also reveled in the Hurricanes' Stanley Cup, since they are the North Carolina team and the local hype was like getting caught in a flash flood -- but I grew up a NY Rangers fan. Like the NBA though, I don't actively follow the regular season of the NHL. But I don't miss much Yankees action, and I never miss a snap of a Rams game.

I think the 4th quarter in Philly was a turning point for the season.

See y'all around. Go Rams!

Welcome!

Very similar background - but I grew up in North Jersey. Started watching them around the same time (mid-1960's). It seemed like they were always the late game on NY television. Once I saw the horns, I was hooked (best damned helmets in the NFL!!)

Avid Yankees fan too... :zipper:
