Ha. I run smack at those Gamecock fans all the time down there.Love the new avatar! I live about 25 miles from Columbia(enemy territory)
Yeah. I spend a lot of time there with work too. Just wrapped up work on the new dorms at Core. You a Clemson fan by chance? I live in between Lexington and Batesburg
Ram fans!
Here's my story man talk about toying with a boy's emotions - my rookie season as a fan is like I skipped alcohol and started with crack! It was like being obsessed with that first girlfriend you're convinced you'll marry and live happily ever after...
After losing interest in the NFL around age 9 I was kind of annoyed by NFL/ My mom was psychotic about the Steelers in the 90s and their losses were felt around the house...plus I half ass rooted for the Eagles as a child, but it was just a brain wash stunt by my Aunt...but who's kidding who if Ray Rhodes took Eagles to a Superbowl I would probably still be a fan.
On a whim I decided Rams were my team. Earlier that week I became fascinated using the team in Madden. When I told my father I was now a Ram's fan he teased, why because They're 4-0...I had no idea about anything outside of the video characters on my TV with the names of "Lyle, Lyght, Farr, Wistrom, Bruce, Holt, Hakim, Agnew, McCleon, etc) drew me in. For some reason I was convinced they were the coolest dudes in the NFL.
At age 12 my first memory as a Ram's fan was watching highlights of Bruce's 4 TD game vs SF that season. To this day he's my all time favorite athlete - can't even name a close 2nd or explain why. I only got to watch prime time games living outside Scranton, PA. I didn't really get to appreciate Bruce like I should have. Watching highlights now...man the guy wasn't the biggest, fastest, strongest, best hands...but clearly he had work ethic, was smart and waited until after his career to marry(can't confirm if he really self imposed a rule haha) , and man, his body just kind of had a 'twist' when he ran routes. His gait was more unique than a voice!
I've been a die hard from '99-'05...would sit in front of PC and refresh every 30 seconds on Sundays The 4 years I was in college I sort of went AWOL, the Ram's were literally the worst team in sports ('06-'09), my memory is fuzzy in general. was too busy doing college kid things, and I didn't have anywhere to watch the games/went to school in Steeler Country(gross). I've pretty much watched every game since Spags first year(That time expiring loss at Tampa that year still hurts as much as Sea week 17) and don't plan on stopping.
I'm a very optimistic fan(it's why I enjoy this forum, i'm not alone) that's convinced every Sunday the Rams will win. I wish I didn't let losses effect my week...Grow up...haha . Every year the Gophers are going to make the Rose bowl/Final 4 and every season the Pirates are looking good at that Pennant run! All my teams have pretty much been below mediocre since i've been an adult and can't wait to see which team makes national headlines first. Rooting for underdogs is emotionally healthy and will eventually pay off...right?
I'll see if I get the urge to join in on the Bob n Weaving with you guys. I've lurked going back to realramsfans. I don't know any Rams fans in my area and I think people get annoyed when I force Ram's talk on them...all anyone cares about is fantasy...it's frustrating, I play every year and all but just cause it's an excuse to stay connected with old friends...Ram's are the only game I care about on Sunday. Watching non-Rams games are kind of boring.
I want to end with saying I pretty much support Fisher/Snead 100%. No regrets with Goff despite not being impressed. I believe the players should be held accountable for their poor performance. I don't want to risk bringing in a new HC every 2.5 seasons and be another Miami, Tampa, Cleveland, Buffalo, Detriot, etc. Obviously we have the talent. I'm patient and hope for luck!
p.s. If only Cromwell had hung on to that easy pick...!
lol. That's hardcore.when I say despise I would pull the cable on their life support to charge my phone.
I absolutely despise the Seahawks, and when I say despise I would pull the cable on their life support to charge my phone.
Welcome friend...I am not normally part of the welcoming committee (they normally keep me hidden in the closet when meeting new folks:sneak . I also drink the tears of Hawk fans, and enjoy every Aaron Donald sack on RW that I can see....Good evening, or afternoon.
Quick little introducing on my part. I'm originally from Arizona, born into a family raised in the LA area who followed the team when they left to St. Louis. I've grown up a rams fan, and will bleed blue and gold until the day I die. I'm an infantryman in the army, stationed in Fort Campbell but currently deployed to Africa. Last game I attended was in 2014 in Arizona, of course we got are asses kicked. I absolutely despise the Seahawks, and when I say despise I would pull the cable on their life support to charge my phone. Trumaine Johnson has been my favorite player on the team for a while now, seeing him injured really rubs me the wrong way. I look forward to getting used to the site more and hopefully talking to some of you ram fanatics.

I live up in Arden (just south of Asheville), but I work all over the Upstate.
How else are we supposed to look up the rankings?Wait. You're a Clemson fan? I'm shocked. I didn't think Clemson fans knew how to use computers, much less the internet. I don't think we can be friends anymore.
How else are we supposed to look up the rankings?
Hi guys......My name is John Wakefield & my golf buds call me Wakie. I am "87" young & have been a Ram fan "A total real Ram fan" since they moved from Cleveland To L.A. in late 40's. Saw their first game in the Coliseum.I now live in Las Vegas since 1990. I was born in L.A. & moved to Long Beach, Ca. when I was 11. Graduated high school & went on to Cal Poly from there. Played football in high school but nothing after that. It has been so long ago that I really have no idea how I decided to fall for the RAMS but, I did. And as you might know, I fell hard. Really hard. I have been reading "ON DEMAND" for a long time & always will. Even after being from L.A. & a season ticket holder starting in 1955 (tickets were $3.90 per game, I still hated the forced move to L.A. I could go on & on as I am a long winded old fart but, I won't. I will say that I am more of a reader then a poster. Last thing I will say. Fisher MUST go. Thanks for listening.
