We lost Wagner, Floyd & Ramsey and received one mid-round 3 draft pick for our efforts. The art of negotiation seems to be absent from our team.

This is true. His physicality will be missed. But it still comes down to the fact if the Rams hit on a corner and restack the safeties they can improve the defense and have a respectable unit vice a unit that lets QBs do whatever the F they want.
They will definitely miss the physicality.

So we are still 3.5m over the cap we almost there!

Honestly I think some people got hung up being able to brag to friends and people that we have the best CB in the league instead of what he actually produces on the field.

Shit I'd take Eli Ricks and/or Garrett Williams over him in the 3rd round TBH. Save that money and the inexperience they give up would make up what Ramsey gives up by playing arrogantly.

How do you rebuild around AD when the guy is 1-2 (maybe 3 if you are lucky) years away from retiring. Same with Stafford. Let’s be real, how much longer does Kupp stay at this level.

Stop acting like you don't enjoy this shit! :laugh1:
I absolutely am laughing at the drama around here. As I said in the other thread about the off season some of the people melting down here have talked in the past how they would give anything for a Lombardi for the team. And yet we have one and now people are melting down

I'm definitely only pissed about the compensation at this point but will never complain about the chip it brought us. Time to see what moves we make and hopefully we hit on a few gems.

I'm actually excited USC is joining. It'll be fun having new blood in the conference!
Did they actually pass it through with a vote? UCLA and USC? I stopped following after the announcement stating that both schools internally needed to confirm it. Is the first year this year?

I'm not sure what to expect in the draft at CB and Safety, but I no longer feel they'll near the top of our board for acquisition. What the Rams do need is a pass rush which can take some of the pressure off our young DB's, so I'm still all in on trading for Brian Burns or another elite level Edge.
Snead mentioned an emphasis on offensive improvements as what might be more in store for us, so I suspect the OL, TE, RB & WR positions to see some real intensive activity, maybe even a QB. Keeping Stafford upright should be goal #1. Re-sign Gaines, get us a proper Edge (1 by trade and 1 from later in the draft) and we should be able to present a decent gameplan.
jmo.

It's getting pretty hard to get excited about the upcoming season but lets see how the team shapes up and performs this season before jumping off the roof.

The first thing this team needs is available quality OL muscle and the other first thing it needs is more pass rushing firepower.

Also, we won a whole 5 games with Ramsey. I feel confident we can equal, or perhaps surpass that feat without him.

McVay must feel the same way.

I guess the whole thing with me is that I've learned my lesson, admitted mistakes and moved on from my drama queen episode. I'm enjoying other people doing it now as entertainment.

Besides it's a great day for me! Arsenal won their 5th in a row shut out a London rival though smaller club and have a 5 point lead with 11 matches to go. It's a great Sunday at my house.

That was a terrible trade. I almost don't believe it. I'm really not a big fan of Snead right now. Seriously a 3rd rounder for a guy you gave up two firsts for and is part of the reason the Rams have nothing to restock with. It's great he cares about players and wants to do right by them but damn bro your employed by the Rams not the players.

What a Fkn joke lol

As usual we get a shit return and even allow him to pick his spot. Tired of that shit just get the best return possible fk his feelings this is business

To make this sound worse, the Eagles got 1st for Carson Wentz, that's how bad the compensation is. Guess teams know who to call to fleece in a trade now. Even Bill O'Brien is laughing at us, damn :wow2:

Exactly, we hear players say it's a business all the time so I'm with you there.
