ONLY way I'm fine with this is if it saves us from trading Jalen Ramsey

Does this mean Ashawn Robinson has the leg up now over Greg Gaines, since he's more of a reliable run stuffer? Wagner will be a loss when trying to stop the run...

Yeah - but if you look at certain times late in games. Bobby got lost in Raheem’s zone D”.

IMO - Nick Scott is the KEY!! Plus - yes I like A” Robinson as The Nose Tackle!

I was against the signing, only because of the money involved, and so yeah was a bad signing.
Could have ran with our younger players and save a lot of cap space.

Or maybe Wagner has been told of other moves coming?

It sounds like he wanted out. I am shocked by this move. Wagner was a big part of our run D.

Wagner was a risky signing but the Rams just lost Von Miller, so I'm sure they were hoping he could be the difference maker on a championship team. He played very well but, obviously, the Rams were not a championship team. It's seems like a good time to let him go at this point. I'm kinda surprised no one on this board didn't see this coming. It kinda makes sense to me now.

He was good (better than expected) last year, but I think Jones learned enough and will show us this year that this was the right move

Seems like a lot of these players have to make some kind of cryptic social media post if they are released. Try and save face.

Jourdan was talking about McVay losing some of the values he held dear this last season in a latest story, from her brief comments about it....I think one of those values is not paying ILBers.

And didn’t Jones sort of move to 2nd fiddle? Maybe the Rams want more of Jones in the lead LB role.

Funny thing - Troy Reeder played for The Rams #1 Staley Defense.
LMAO

Then Reeder was just good enough to be Top 4 in tackles with the Superbowl run.

—point being The Rams don’t put a lot of value in there LBEr.

Ernest Jones needs to bulk up a little in the offseason.
