I give credit to Mr Sneed for making the moves he needs to win, now!

No I don't think he will, IMO, it will be Jones, Funk & Anderson, however, Michel will be ready for September 12th.
Nothing to gain from playing him. They already know he is NFL ready. He just needs a crash course on the playbook.

I'm less concerned about RB as I was about the O line. But Michel, in my opinion, is an upgrade over what we have and the cost was tolerable vs some of our usual trades

First? Hated it. Those 2022 picks are gold with an estimated 2200 players in the draft as opposed to only 650 this time and avg of 1800, there’s gonna me mad talent in this draft even late.

yeah, the talent in the 5th and 6th won't be too far away from the talent at the comp 4th pick.

To be honest, other than when he played against us, I didn't see him a great deal because I don't enjoy watching the Pats.
I like his style of running: goes through the line hard, good feet, ploughs through tacklers.
Physical with a touch of finesse.
Lovely.

Catching and blocking skills acquired.
McVay should be very happy.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe that, if we don’t re-sign Michel at the end of this year, we’d be eligible for a 2023 comp pick which would offset what we’re giving up in 2022.

Yes that's the general thought process behind this trade I think. We likely give up a 4th comp pick in 2022 for Michel and hope he shines for us in 2021. Next year if he is signed by someone else we get a comp pick in 2023 like you said. Being a RB who, barring Hendo going down long term, will be a complimentary piece of a RB rotation he probably won't garner a huge contract since those are rare for RBs these days. So I wouldn't count on getting another 4th back but at the very least we may get a 6th or possibly 5th.

Assuming he signs for similar money as a free agent as JJ3. Not sure how likely that is tbh though. Heck maybe we extend him if he’s cheap enough, him and Akers next year would be a nice two back system with Hebpndo #3.

This is awesome.

Michel is RB1 worthy.

Henderson may very well move to RB2 after a few games.

Love this move.

Well our last RB from Georgia won offensive MVP last and gave us a few awesome years. Not saying he'll do that, but I'm hoping our luck with Georgia RBs continues. The best part is his contract is cheap.

Dang, you’re awake! I guess an exciting pick up by Snead even makes it up Into the Northwest Territories!

Thoughts and questions...

I like how patient he seems for his holes to develop and then hits it hard. He seems really shifty. But... I haven’t seen any plays where he shifts into second gear and blows people chasing him away. He seems to get caught from behind a lot.

Just out of curiosity why’d the patriots want to let him walk. I trust belichick about as much as I do EDIT around a kid whose hair smells good...
Damien Harris is why. That kid is good too.

I like it. He doesn't have a lot of miles on the tires, but he's a vet with big game experience. And he's a vet that can be a valuable teacher to our young RBs.

I'm feeling better about our RB situation than at any time before Akers went down.

P.S. "Fuck them picks" - Les Snead

Good trade... and here I thought they'd be stalking someone in the same offensive system but instead went with someone whom T Brown was familiar with.

If everything we've heard about Brown is true, he should be able to get the best out of Michele.

Would love to get a 6th back for one of our safeties at 53 cut time.

Also... I wonder if this means that we keep 4 RBs initially till Michele gets up to speed and then Jones goes to PS.

Wile Michele may not be quite the featured back Akers is, he''s definatly an upgrade at recognizing and picking up blitz'

This was always my biggest worry about Rams RB stable even before Akers went down.
