I thought the suggestion of him weeks ago was a pipe dream, that a player like him wouldnt be available for cheap. Glad I was wrong again!
He's legit for sure

Same here. When his name was brought up by some of the guys I was like, no way man.

But Snead is the man, yet again.

And now Henderson can return to his upright seat and put his seatbelt on. ;)

Doing any kind of business with that cheating piece of shit would be difficult for me. Not because of his cheating... it would be because the cheater is either lying or hiding something on purpose.

Looks like Snead made sure that this would be a win/win in the end though no matter what. That's the only way to deal with that piece of shit cheater.

I'm sure he has to pass a physical and have the vaginal yeast of Bill scraped off his taint before he's allowed to set foot in SoFi.

First? Hated it. Those 2022 picks are gold with an estimated 2200 players in the draft as opposed to only 650 this time and avg of 1800, there’s gonna me mad talent in this draft even late.

Second? Watched some Sony Michel highlights and WOW. Dude’s got NIFTY feet and is actually a very similar runner to Akers. Solid in pass pro, patient at setting up his blocks and also productive behind bad OLs like Akers was at FSU. Nice acceleration to 2nd gear. Deceptively fast.

After more reflection , I’m really liking this. Michel may not be a Gurley or Chubb, but he’s a really good back and wouldn’t surprise me if he’s ahead of Hendo pretty quick.

Sony runs exactly like I love in a RB. Tough, physical, and mean.

I like the move a lot. Sony can truly fill the role left by Malcom Brown as an excellent pass blocker, and is a physical runner.

From what I read we only have to give up a 4th comp pick if we get one - not both the 5th or 6th so we will only lose 1 draft pick.

And I think we should be getting a 4th for JJ as long as he plays 8 games or so.

I really like this trade.

Hilights look great as usual, except for that puke he’s wearing.

I noticed a lot of lead blockers for those runs.

I don't know why I know he is solid but I just have such a good feeling about this move. Love hendo but while the pats are always solid in this offense this guy can be a stud. Nobody feared Newton or the pats wideouts or deep threats this could be huge.
There is also no guarantee akers is the same after an Achilles tear. Not only can that screw with your head but also just when planting and pushing off if you favour it or baby it then you can run into knee problems or have fear of those quick cuts etc. Let's hope not and pray cam comes back better than ever.

Maybe I'm just psyched about the season starting but I think this move may make more of an impact that the pundits think. Love it!!!

Thoughts and questions...

I like how patient he seems for his holes to develop and then hits it hard. He seems really shifty. But... I haven’t seen any plays where he shifts into second gear and blows people chasing him away. He seems to get caught from behind a lot.

Just out of curiosity why’d the patriots want to let him walk. I trust belichick about as much as I do EDIT around a kid whose hair smells good...

Love this. We only give up a 4th, get a really solid back (albeit, one with the same durability issues we currently have:wow2:) for an all in year. I wouldn't want to resign because Akers Henderson and Funk next year.

I am very very very excited to see which OL are waived...

He's not the fastest RB usually clocking in the mid 4.5s but has good burst. He has plenty of juice to get to the second level of a defense but isn't going to outrun a good DB basically. And the Patriots have 5 RBs they like and Michel lost his starting role last year already. So with him being in the last year of his rookie contract this helps them keep other RBs they like since the Patriots don't like paying RBs. They cycle through them pretty regularly.

Only bummer about this trade is the Patriots not picking up his 5th year option a few months ago. Would be nice to have him for two years before we had to worry about whether we want to resign him next offseason.
