While I hope we get one of Steve Avila and Jonah Jackson back soon, I have to say that Justin Dedich was quite solid tonight. For a rookie UDFA, he played well. I'm still concerned about the defense. Hopefully, this is only the beginning of a competent run defense.

I agree re: Dedich, and Limmer needs to stay at C.
But Avila... on some of these runs that hit the pile for 0 yds, especially at the end of the 4th when we're trying to chew up clock, I think Avila makes the difference.
Glad to have Dedich backing him up, but man I can't wait for Av to get back.
Not looking forward to whatever way we try to accommodate our high-priced F/A J.Jax. I'd kinda like to keep him on the bench tbh.
